i have loads of pretty frou-frou dresses and cute wigs but every time i think to myself, gee, i'd like to make a more masculine outfit this time it's like i have no clothes. i am tired of this. kindly direct me to your favorite androgynous/male wears, so i can stop wearing the jeans i bought in middle school (i'm serious. the pants i'm wearing are IDENTICAL to two pairs of jeans i wore through middle school+high school lmao i am mortified)

Here are some that I knew of off the top of my head!

Not sure what your price range is for clothes, but there are a couple Subeautique lines (as well as the Cash Shop Delish lines) that cater for male-specific looks. Some of them are retired by now, but good to know:

the Cece lines (Coast, Hound, Raven..) the Dapper So ____ lines (Anthony, Virgil, Fantastic) the Professor New lines (Zombeau, Old-Skool, First Blood, Foxy, etc) Grimdark Gentleman Giselle Thrift Rat (I'm sporting the coat ;P)

I found a liking for making male/androgynous HAs, and the challenge of making them with the more limited availability of male-specific clothing items makes them too fun not to do :D I honestly think that most items can be used regardless of how girly they may be lol. Just be creative and work those layers. If you can get the face (eyes/makeup, hair) to look masculine, everything else will fall into place.

@ jensen I only make male HAs, so naturally I own a lot of appropriate items. I don't know how many of them you'll have seen or already have, but whatever.

i think there are a lot of nice Vanity items for males. but yeah, it's pretty much scattered.. i know some of the items below are definitely repeats, but i skimmed a bit and can say there's a few new suggestions as well. hopefully you manage to gain one or two nice findings from them! for some jackets:

If no one's said it already, Lips without Lipstick, Eyes without Eyeshadow is good for face features.

Here's just a few odd things I don't think have been mentioned yet (might be some repeats) that I like for male/androgynous HA's. The vanity clothes work well for tops and pants.

I agree!! It can be so hard to wade through all the feminine items to find the masculine ones! Here are a few I like, and I don't think I've spotted suggested from the people above. Though I might have missed some.

Here is something to go with your "manly" attire. I use it to show more shape. I usually layer them over the clothes(I am using it now also but the colors just don't make it too obvious but it hella makes a difference with lighter colored stuff or items that expose arms and torso. Either I use these two together Or just this one alone (I prefer the first two tho) What's good about it also is that they are easily purchased with just sP.
