im trying to get books for my pet Silavis but i can never remember which i have read already so if there was a marker under items like books or food that show whether your active pet has read/eaten/etc that item then it would make my job a lotttttttt easier! what do you think?
[font=palatino] We have done the
and that makes us
i don't really see the need for this since you can do an account search to check if a food has been fed/a book has been read before you buy it, either through hovering over the item and selecting account search or doing a manual one through the nav widget link
there's also subetalodge checklists if you're reading in bulk, or buying food in bulk, or something like that
I'd love a page on Foods/Books that's like the unowned section of Plushies/Beanbags. That would make buying soooo much easier but I don't know how feasible it really is.
there's a suggestion for that! original post only mentions books, but food was brought up pretty quickly. still under the necro rule too, i think, since it's not quite a year old
true, but it's a decent stopgap until we get proper collections pages for food/books (esp if you want filters for price/restock location, which subeta's collections pages don't have), and it has been suggested before at least twice but i don't know if it's on staff's radar vs other things. tbh, i shouldn't really have brought it up since it's unrelated to the original suggestion, which was marking books/food on the shop search page itself.
no support, sorry. We buy lots of food items and books for quests and there are a lot I've never bothered to feed my gourmand pet, so this marker wouldn't be super useful in distinguishing those. Plus there are a lot of books/food items bought (especially more expensive ones) in the forums or in specialty stores like seasonal shops and the quest shop, so keeping track of those would also become difficult. A good system is just using subetalodge or looking at the pet's food eaten/books read pages.
