I received an additional wizard quest buff this morning and then I another one for the wizard again this afternoon. The buff from this morning added an extra slot, but the one I just got this afternoon did not increase my slot (checked immediately). Im not sure if there is a cap on buffs, but if there is I suppose it still should not be able to show up twice.

You are only allowed 1 extra quest per day, so that part isn't a glitch.

I think or someone said a while back that ideally you'd get the extra quest buff as an RE and it would last the rest of the day instead of being time limited, so you wouldn't get the RE again. I'm not sure if that's still something that could be changed or not though.
