I've been having a lot of trouble finding hair that fits underneath the restockable hoodies and beanies. If the hair doesn't stick out of the back, then it usually sticks out weirdly on the left side of the face. If it doesn't stick out on the left side, then it sticks out the back. Other than a few of the cash shop wigs, I've only found a very select few that work with a hoodie or beanie (rarely do they work for both).

I was thinking maybe if we could have hair that's entirely flat on the back half and top, and then comes down in the front without covering the face too much?

My second idea would be to just have bang items. Like, ONLY bangs. So you can attach them to your HA and it looks like they're hanging out nicely under the hood or beanie with no stray hairs permeating out the fabric.

if anyone else has input, that would be fantastic.

I would love to have either full wigs like this or even just bangs like you mentioned.

I love the designs of these, but I hardly ever use them because I have the same issue. Very few hairstyles actually work with these items without sticking out in weird places. Sometimes this can be fixed by layering the hair under a backdrop or something, but that isn't the best fix. And leaving the HA bald looks kinda weird too.

Some kind of items that give the appearance of hair under the hood without all of the weird layering nonsense would be fantastic!

Hecking YES PLS, would love to wear more hats and hoodies with hair, without having to finagle some background layering in.
Maybe more items like or that have the hair already a part of it?

So many times I want to wear a hoodie/beanie but can't because it's so annoying trying to find a decent wig. That said I looooove the idea of bangs. They could even be used as cute layering to other wigs, definite support from me!

I don't think this Suggestion is quite right. Hoodie exclusive hair would in most cases look really weird and would only have use with hoodies.

Subeta could create a stencil-backdrop that is absolutely white everywhere else except the HA-bodyshape-keyhole. This would chop off any excess hair without putting any extra things on your HA image. If you don't mind extra stuff going on behind you , you can use one of the older-style HA-bodyshape-keyhole backdrops to chop off any hair outside your head layer them above your hair and then put your hoodie on.

Most 'male' hairstyles here on Subeta are pretty floopy-loofy and girly when a lot of hairstyles men wear are closer to the head. If there were more close to the head hairstylesyou could wear them with a hoodie. The ones I have seen are unpopular though. This also won't help if you if you want to show a longer/fuller woman's style that happens to be constrained by the hoodie though.

i wouldn't mind more close-cropped wigs or long hair wigs edited to be short? (knock-offs, i guess) or more bangs since we have stuff like and already, but i don't think i'd want hat-specific wigs to be a priority over more short hair or masculine styles o:

Yeah, even a lot of the short hairstyles don't necessarily work. They may be short around the shoulders, but the parts around the top of the head will usually stick out of the hood area. We could use at least one or two styles of wigs/bangs that are close against the head or face area that wouldn't stick out everywhere.

i also played around with the whiteout a bit, and while it's great for hoodies it's not a perfect solution to the beanie/hat problem -- it cuts off the left side bangs which doesn't work for me, at least. (or i have too many floofy-banged wigs, and i'm too picky for this.) they could do a spilled whiteout a la flask of shadows with one half the whiteout overlay? but i don't know how useful that'd be outside of the droop beanies.

I wear hats all the time as my skin and retinas have a strong tendency to burn. Most curls or floofs I can do to my hair get flattened or clamped down by my hat because many of those hairs start higher up on my scalp and are forced against my head by the hat. The left-side problem isn't really a big one unless you want to show supernaturally irrepressable hair.

I would love this -- it's hard to find hair that's visible under the hood, but doesn't stick out the sides or back; the way the hoods are drawn here is very tight to the head, so almost any volume in the hair at all means it can't be used, and it's really disappointing to have nice hats or sweaters in the wardrobe that don't really work with anything.

@ Solsticesprite nah, i get that (and i def relied on the hat-hair squish when i was growing mine out, hah) i just think it looks uneven when they get cut off on the avatar and i don't like it i.e. the bangs on vs no whiteout so i'm definitely just too picky, but that's why i don't use hats p: i won't say no to more options, though. more bangs!

Yes to bangs! I once layered two wigs together under a hat or something and the two-toned hair actually looked pretty awesome.

It's also a bit of a shame that they don't make anymore of the key-hole backgrounds. I totally understand why they don't do that anymore but when you have the hat/hoodie issue, options are a little limited (I totally have to find some more too because my avatar probably has one of the worst hairstyles for hoodies/beanies).

I've sometimes used the whiteout BG to fix hat/hoodie issues, but as illustrated, I don't like the way it cuts off hair from places where it could show (along the right cheek/chin line).

I'd love more colours for the Hair Piece because I've tried layering it and I couldn't find a single item that matches the colour.
