So, just like in real life, many people have problems saving money due to impulse control or a sudden change in circumstances. What I really like that actual banks do, is that you can create an account with special restrictions. For instance, you can keep putting sP into the account, but you can't withdraw money until a specified date.
Option Ideas:
❤️Withdrawal cannot be made until a specified date ❤️Withdrawal cannot be made until a specified amount of sP has been reached
I struggle to be able to save sP when the money I'm spending from is from the same account. I know that's a problem with me, but I know many, many others suffer from the same problem. It would be highly encouraging to be able to save sP and see it grow over time. Knowing you literally cannot spend it until a certain condition is made definitely helps.
Thank you for reading
EDIT: changed some terms from money to sP

There's a Shop Till Achievement that does this.
sP is not real money, it's a game scrip. A ready supply of it can be had every day, unlike RL currencies. I do not like treating it as if it is one.
Imagine if you're saving for your dream item, so you lock all of your money in your vault. So-said item get undercut, and you want to buy it
But you can't. Money locked.
See. That's a double-edged blade there
You could attach a PIN to withdrawing sP from your vault, that extra step might make you think twice before withdrawing to spend on random stuff.
Reminds me of a term deposit, but Subeta's not a banking site. Otherwise I'd put that sP into stocks if they are still around and not bankrupting all the time ;)
Stocks died in like 2014. Or something. They haven't been around for years.
Create your very own forum group, regularly donate to said group. Now you aren't pulling from the same pile of sP anymore. This neatly eliminates both the problems stated in OP as well as the issue brought up by .
