In honor of upcoming NPCs' wedding the site could make a cake decorating news contest or host something cute like the base trees we get during Luminaire ^^
We already have food dye, decorative icing and cake mix (site items), they could implement function for those. Perhaps a "Cake decoration storage," similar to our "Ornaments Inventory"
-Cake mix could open our base image or cake layers options -use candy/frosting/dyes like ornaments
Whilst this idea is cute, it seems like a lot of effort for a one time event and frankly it sounds wastefull unless we find a use for such a system beyond the upcoming event.
That said, we had a real life cake decorating contest a couple years back were users could send in pictures of their subeta themed cakes and they made items based on the best submissions. I wouldn't mind them doing that again for the wedding cake.
Super love this idea, a lot, it sounds so much fun~! Don't know how long the 'wedding' is going to last (all of Vesnali maybe?) but this sounds like a great extra layer of keeping people invested, especially if we can display our cakes under our HA! [can also be a great sP sink lmao]
Hm, I think I agree with in that it may be too much to do on site, but I can see them doing something similar to the 10th anniversary event where there was a RL cake decorating contest and the top three cakes were made into site items. Perhaps the winner of the wedding cake contest could have their cake featured as the couple's wedding cake on site?
I love this idea, especially if it can use items that are already on site, like the frosting and cake mixes. I'm sure there are other items that don't have a use that could become decorations for the cake. If its a similar system to the Lumi trees, that would provide numerous decorating options and allow us to display our cake on our profile (could also appear on our profile for our birthday and Subeta anniversaries).
I personally don't want to see a RL cake decorating contest again. That only narrows down the number of users who can participate. I didn't take part in the 10th anniversary cake contest because I didn't have the supplies nor the skill to decorate a cake. I also don't want to see cake decorating become a contest, not everything has to be a contest. This is more along the lines of something fun to do that relates to the wedding. If staff want to incorporate some kind of system to chose the best cake to use for the wedding, fine (but I think we all suspect Fantine will bake the cake)
