You and I seem to have very similar tastes :D I think you would really enjoy Lost Girl (fantasy/crime). It's underrated with solid characters. Maybe Once Upon a Time (fantasy) if you enjoy Disney. The fantasy/magical aspects are strong. Frequency (crime) is another show that popped up recently and I think the premise is very interesting. I saw Legend of Korra (fantasy) recently and I think it is surprisingly exceptional for an animated show. I also enjoy watching Blindspot (crime), but the writing could be better. If you've never watched NCIS (crime), many of the early seasons are good and reminiscent of Criminal Minds (I used to watch them around the same time).

If you want a wildcard suggestion to try something new, I really enjoyed Orphan Black. It's kind of science fiction grounded in the real world with some crime aspects. Stranger Things was also good and I'm not into thrillers at all.

Most of the other shows I watch delve strongly into the superhero and drama genres and I'm not sure if you'd be interested in those suggestions.

If you love history you should watch Vikings! It's pretty good.

And I agree with Jess on Legend of Korra, if you are interested in animation too. Just, if you watch it, watch The Last Airbender first! It's like one of the best western animated series so far.

I recommend:

Taboo - historical drama with hint of fantasy, basically this guy who everyone thought to be dead due to a shipwreck comes back after his father's death in hopes of sailing to this one place and gets in trouble with the East India Co.; did I mention it's Tom Hardy? C: LOVE

I second Orphan Black. :3

Outlander - woman travels back in time and wants to get back to present in Scotland, historical romantic drama based on the book series

If you like crimes and history, have you tried Ripper Street? It basically follows the police in the area of London where Jack the Ripper hunted. It's set in the years after Jack the Ripper quit, so they have to deal with a lot of distrust for the police (since they never solved the murder), and you see all kinds of different sides of London in that time period. I dunno, I quite like it.

Also, The Librarians is a good one. It's about a magical library that picks librarians to "serve" it. Basically, when it needs staff, it sends out magic letters to the best and the brightest around the world. Then, those people are supposed to help protect the world from loose, wild magic. So, the show centers around this group of experts, and you see a lot of history and science, but also magic, and then mystery, because they have to figure out what is causing some weird event, then stop it by finding the guilty parties and/or the artifact that is messing with things. It's really fun, and it just got renewed for a new season. :)
