I don't know if other people are like me, but I like to change my theme for the seasons, holidays, and other such things.

I wish we had..... ❤️ a Tempest site theme. ❤️ a site theme to use for my birthday week/month/day. ❤️ a site theme for springtime, like we do for Autumn.
❤️ a site theme for every holiday, but we only have 3, I think. [heart ]a site theme to match specific areas around the site like port plunder, omen island, sacred lands, peka glade, etc. ❤️ an Oatmeal themed site theme. ❤️ a site theme supporting the adoption center, millionaire center, and or Delphi aquarium (a under-sea theme) (etc.).

I wouldn't mind seeing more themes either. I found this thread from last year that has some other suggestions as well.

Probably not a super high priority right now, but in the future it could be nice to see some new ones.

We're supposed to get a site layout makeover this year, no? Keith mentioned something along those lines, I don't know if the plans were changed or not.

Would like more layout options either way! A lightweight minimalistic one in several colours would be ❤. I already gutted the current layout as much as I could with customCSS, but an official "light" theme would be a godsend.

Thanks for the link to the older thread, I didn't know about that one! I agree with about neutral or pastel themes as well. Sometimes I do want a rest for my eyes. But I love seeing the art and having the option of cute artsy site themes.

I really hope that we do get a lot more themes soon.

I think there is supposed to be some sort of coding change coming later this year. I'm not sure if that involves a layout change, but I guess it might. It's been a while since there's been an update on that, so I have no idea if that's still the plan but I don't see why it wouldn't be (unless there are complications or something).

I agree some basic color layouts would be kind of nice. We'll have to see what happens later in the year and what the site ends up looking like then.

Keith mentioned a new layout here. There were other posts from Keith hinting at it and at least one outright mentioning it, but I can't for the life of me find them now. )x

And yup, I agree! Basic, minimalistic coloured layouts without any superfancy top graphics would be amazing for people with smaller screen resolutions and mobile users.

Ah, thanks for the link! I'm curious to see what it will end up looking like once it's done, although I feel like it could still be a good few months away from being ready.

And yeah, some updates to the mobile layout and making some more of the essential things work on mobile would be great too. I hardly ever use it myself, but I know a lot of people do. And I think some things like forum posts still don't load on mobile, so that's kind of annoying for people who primarily use the mobile version.

I do know what layout change you are talking about but I thought he meant an overhaul of how the entire site looked/was displayed. At least that is how I interpreted his statements about the site changes. These changed would include the themes and I hope we get to keep them. The mobile site is in need of some care. I hope they roll out the new site changes (if there are still some in their plans) during a time period when there are not any major site holidays. I also think they will probably allow GA people to beta test the new site (so it really won;t be a huge surprise lol). At least that is my two cents on the topic. C:

Well after Vesnali next month, we don't really have anything else scheduled until September/October, so later in the summer would probably be a good time to roll out any major site changes (before the next round of holidays starts).

Hopefully they can get whatever changes they were planning implemented before then, because I agree it would be not very fun to have some major adjustments while something like Fireside or Luminaire is going on.

Yeah, a mobile layout overhaul would be great too. x-x I don't use it, but mobile Chrome loves to swap back to the mobile layout every couple of days. Can confirm 100% - forum posts still don't load in mobile layout and in private browsing/when you're logged out on PC.

Yup, that's what I meant! x) I wasn't clear enough, sorry about that! I'd love to keep the themes as a site option, too. A lot of the current ones are gorgeous and there's definitely room for more site themes. Hopefully post-layout update!

Why not a Sacred Lands or a Shengui Guo theme, too? I don't think there are site layouts for these areas yet, and they should really have one each!

I couldn't agree more and I hope someone in the staff sees this thread with all these suggestions and we really see some more themes.
