So I've been working on this overlay for my Nightmare Legeica all morning.

Ariya

I would love some feedback as I've never drawn a horse-type creature before and I always seem to notice things I want to change after I already submit the work. I tend to get overzealous and not look too carefully after I finish something lol. The character is a Kelpie in case you're wondering where those back legs are.

Feel free to be completely honest, you won't hurt my feelings, I swear.

Hey! Jesus this subforum is dead, just looked at the date for your post. XD I'm not very good at giving feedback in text but I guess I could try. I feel, upon looking at the kelpie, that although the base of it's tail is pretty thick it gets really thin after the last bend and remains like that until the tuft. Perhaps if you made the transition from thin to thick a bit more even? Add a little bit of flesh to the underside of the tail right after the bend. :P Also it's fringe seems to be floating in a different direction from the rest of the mane. The rest of the mane is floating rightwards whilst the bangs cover it's face in a slightly leftwards motion. I think there's also a small bit of neck missing by one of the ears.

Thank you so much for the feedback. I actually just noticed how the tail went from thick to thin a bit too quickly, so I couldn't agree with you more lol. Hadn't noticed the mane yet though, you'd think I would have seen that while drawing it. And don't worry, you're good at giving feedback in text, it was very clear. Thanks again!
