Apologies first off if this kind of thing has been suggested before! But in light of the Qrykee's solidification as a pet species, I'm sure there are people who think other experiments would make good pet material. In this case, I personally think experiment 0507 would make a good pet. It has a cohesive enough appearance to look like a separate species all its own, and reminds me at least, of an Oni.

Along that line of thinking, if it resembles an Oni, it might be a good candidate to come from Shengui Guo, as it would match the Asian influenced region. Namewise, maybe something involving the word oni or imp? Any support or suggestions on the pet is welcome! I know I'd certainly appreciate a pet of this experiment, and am curious if others would too!

Oh man, making 0507 into a full-fledged species would make me so ridiculously happy. I wanted to zap Memnoch into one, then I gave up and settled on a Bloodred Darkonite after spending at least 5m on experiment-only zaps.

Since they also kind of remind me of Shisa, I'd say maybe a stylized version of that for a name? Or melding the two together? Onishi comes to mind, but that's an actual Japanese surname... Onisha?

I don't know. I'm terrible with coming up with names. But I do support this idea.

I would definitely have more of these if they became a full species. It's by far my favorite experiment right now. I only wish I had more color options, as this bright one only partially works for the character I have him attached to.

I love sooooo much, I would've given every cent to make it an official species if it had been picked for the competition. It would also be really neat to see more pets that were based off folklore and mythology. I know there are a few out there right now, but 's manticore/oni hybrid look is distinct and really lovely! (and it just looks so huggable ok ok)

tbh i would give all my money to the 0507 in any contest it was in, but i kinda want this guy to show up as a native species from shengui guo without any help from euclid, like euclid was just messing around with imported remains or s/t and they've been camped out in the mountains the whole time like "(shrug emoji) adopt me and feed me choice steak"

either way, all my support for this guy to be a full species on its own

Oooh, I love that idea! For some reason, the Japanese snow monkeys came to mind. The ones who live up in the mountains but come down to lounge around in natural hot springs? Maybe users could leave choice steak or other meat items as an offering to see if they'll come down to visit the pools.

Also I think the name "Oolong" for their species would be cute, but it's Chinese instead of Japanese inspired so I'm not sure...

& yeah, i'd be down for that! assuming staff would be up for opening areas beyond the city, somewhere beyond ying's bathhouse/the floating market would be a neat spot for visiting and pet-obtaining o: (tho tbh the 0507 could straight up demand i deliver fifty pieces of (meat item) to the moon and i'd do it for an easier way to obtain these guys lmao)
