About two weeks ago, I started doing Major Drill quests, and I always used to skip the quest if it had this game involved, because there's no way to harpoon that many leviathans on the same level, or so I thought, but today I decided to give it a go when he linked me to that game on a quest.

I discovered two things: 1) I never claimed the first two achievements for that game, so YAY!, and 2) that you can play several games to achieve the quest goal.

However, I can't seem to beat the current level I am on, which I have no idea what it is.

The game says "Are you ready to harpoon some leviathans?! Start Level 6?", so I assume I'm on that one, but it seems odd because I already have the level 6 achievement. So that brings me to my first question: How do I figure out which level am I?

I tried to find a guide for this game, but the only one I could find (this one) is from 2011, all images are broken, and last post was from last year, so I didn't want to necro it. I wanted a guide to find out how many leviathans I needed to harpoon to complete the current level, but I couldn't find this information either.

I know the game is not exactly recent, but by any chance does anyone know the answer to my (bolded) questions, and how many leviathans are needed for the levels up to level 9? Thanks ^_^

If I'm remembering correctly, the number of leviathans on any level is random. To win the level you need to find all the leviathans.

You are on level 6. Its possible that you beat that level and clicked the reset game button, and worked your way back up. Or not. Could be you win the achievement for making it to level 6 rather than beating level 6.

I don't remember resetting the game, but it could have been that, who knows. I did find 20 leviathans the other day, but I still lost :/ That's the greatest amount I've found in that level as well.

I wonder if anyone in staff actually knows that I could ping for a bit of info?

Yeah, there was mostly info in the first post in that one.

I remember years ago some conversation with a programmer who I don't think is here anymore. The helpful things they said was the leviathans tend to show up in a spiral pattern, that you had to get all the leviathans and how many there were was random. But these are very vague memories and between how long ago it was and changes to the forum system I haven't been able to track down where that info was to confirm it.

thank you! I think I got told or read sometime, the first three levels the leviathans appeared in vertical lines, on the next three levels they appeared horizontal (which is happening my current level), and the last three were in spiral pattern.

Shame we don't have a specific number of leviathans to aim for. Thank you for you help, though! ^_^

Just keep trying and while doing major drills quest! I thought I never get over lvl 6 and suddenly I've got it after a few months. The funny thing is I beat lvl 7 after one or two trys. Even if you are frustated think about the random events you can get while clicking around. :) I wish you good luck!

i did accidently click on restart at level one so i had to redo all the levels

now i am again on level six since a few weeks ............ and still trying

i just uncovered 22 leviathans on level 6 and stll did not win :) if you still want to know how much we need to kill in this level ???

so i guess we need 25 or so to beat it ??

Yikes ... The times I've played since I found 20 leviathans, I haven't been able to reach that number again.... I hope you're able to pass through it soon :)
