So the sidebar only shows 75 events at a time. If you go over that, it adds a little message at the bottom that takes you to this page so you can "view all" of your events. That sounds like a great idea, but it turns out events.php also displays a max of 75 events at a time, so it's no better than the sidebar. Is this a mistake? I can understand wanting to have some limit so it's not displaying thousands of events at a time, but with the current limit it's no better than the sidebar. What's the point?
There's also no way to mass delete events on this page, which ends up making it worse than the sidebar in terms of functionality.

On top of all that, the "remove" icons are broken and don't show up so you couldn't even delete a single event if you wanted to. I think it's trying to use icons from an older library that's no longer used on Subeta. This should be a simple fix compared to the other design decisions, but it just highlights how neglected this page is.
Honestly, I rarely exceed 30 events in my sidebar (let alone 75) so I hardly ever get to see events.php and this doesn't effect me too much. But in the rare event that I do need it to manage my events, it fails spectacularly.

I too noticed that page earlier in the event and second every comment that Speiro made. No way to mass delete (or delete anything actually.) It's capped as well as the sidebar (at least put in pages or something.) In its current form, I don't understand the point.
Perhaps it could show past alerts- like the last 5-10 or something. I know I've accidentally cleared alerts before when I didn't want to, and having a way to see them again would be nice. (Obviously during an alert-heavy event, it'd be a bit pointless. But outside of events, it'd be more useful.)
I think that page used to show closer to 200 events - still not all of them if you had more than that, but it was slightly better than the sidebar. It would be really nice if it could be as functional as you think it will be when you click the button at the bottom of your sidebar events.
PS Sorry for accepting like four days worth of dances at once and probably prompting this suggestion. xD

It would be nice to have some improvements made to this page. Most of the time it's not really necessary, but for events like this where you can easily get hundreds of events piled up at a time, it would be useful to have an easier way to look through and delete them.
I'm at a loss to understand the current situation altogether. For 3 days we have been greeted by a banner "live events have been disabled until we can fix lag issues", but I've been getting all necessary events. Would be bad otherwise anyway, when you need to accept dances...
By live events they mean the bubbles that pop up when you get an event and the red flags that appear in the browser tabs. Events still work, we just won't get notification of them instantly.
ohhh, lol, I haven't gotten bubbles etc. in ... years
- Nooo, don't be sorry. It was amazing. I wasn't sure it would ever end. :P

I agree, it would be nice if the page would show some more events than the sidebar. If the page showed a lot more, like 200, perhaps even split to 2 pages, the amount of events in the sidebar could be lowered further to help the system run smoother. And definitely some method of mass deleting events there would make a lot of sense. In its current state the page is just pointless.
And I don't think the View All link in the sidebar is working properly either. My current event count is 84 but there's no View All link at the bottom of the list, even though I'm not seeing some ancient events I keep as reminders.
I think the sidebar event limit used to be 100 or something closer to that, so the link doesn't seem to come up until you hit that number - even though the current max number of events that will show in the sidebar is 75.

Oh, that makes sense (well, the gap of 25 events doesn't make sense, but it's a good explanation :)), thanks!
Live events were working? Since when? I haven't gotten a bubble in eons.
So I had like 90+ events today. Not as bad, but yes, I didn't get that link to go to that page. I just slowly started going through more categories, and eventually more popped up once the categories finally started disappearing.
I agree that we need a better, separate page that's like the sidebar -divided-, that we can better browse through for when we have a lot of events and want to make sure we aren't missing one. Right now the ping history page is in chronological order, which helps, but also does not help.
for the love of all that is holy please i hiatused for like 2 years a while back and came back to ~7k events. that was a fun time and i'm now honestly a bit afraid to not check in on this site at least every month or so just bc i'm not sure i'd ever come back if i had to do that again.

Looks like this is correct. I logged on to 101 events and had a link to "view all (101) events". I deleted a single event, and the link disappeared.
