You can use the zapper every two hours (there should be a button letting you set an alert after the zap). And you can always use any of the chai elixir to turn your pet back to a chai.

Thank you! I'm new so I'm still learning some things. I'll probably just zap her for now, but I didn't know about Elixirs and might do that if I'm never pleased to turn her back.

I freaking love Exp#696 and I'm so jealous of you right now :O If you don't want this experiment you can keep zapping and sooner or later your pet will change species and colour, and possibly change to another Experiment, so don't worry about this experiment sticking around for too long.

It's probably a good idea to keep zapping since you might get some other cute pets :). Also not sure if you already know this: the zapper can randomly zap an item in your inventory into some useless junk, so be sure to put away any valuable items in your inventory before zapping. Also don't give your pet any expensive minions since the zapper can change them too.
