So I'm guessing I probably don't stand a chance against this 4-headed hydra.
.<
My current set:
My current scrolls: either Inferno OR Elegy of Earth & Thunderous Roar
because I'm an idiot and my battle pet isn't my book reading pet, so my AP is stupidly low for my level....
battle pet: Kohaku Nushi Level 375 Health 945 Strength 937 Defense 937 Speed 938
any advice? i only have about 11 mil sp to spend because what is saving.
I'd suggest that you add a to your set. It'd be better if you have both the Phoenix Quill and the because they make the difference in battle. For the 5-headed hydra you can lose the Malevolent Grenade, or any weapons with icons that he blocks. The only icons that he doesn't block (or not a lot of) are ice and wind. I'd keep the Frost Thorn because it has a chance to freeze.
I just beat the five-headed hydra with my third pet, who has the following stats: Level: 399 Strength: 999 Defense: 998 Speed: 997 Health: 998 Intelligence: 140
which I believe are quite close to yours. My set consisted of The Siren Harp can be replaced with any 100% freezer, for example the Gorgun or Gatekeeper Collar of Slavery in the battle shop, which you can buy with battle tokens. The Recycle Blaster is also a decent and affordable item to have in your set. The Flayed Lord Breastplate will help you block a good chunk of the hydra's weapons. It has a chance of not blocking anything at all, but still better than a breakable shield because it's going to take more than just a few turns for a T6-T7 pet.
For scroll, I'd suggest an infinite healing scroll. I used but with 10% heal would also be nice to have.
I accidentally entered the second battle without one blaster, and the third without scroll, so I think you can at least get 3 wins if not more with the right weapons. You can borrow what you haven't got in the borrowing and lending thread.
Thank you so much! I'm on mobile but I super appreciate the help! I'm gonna try that tomorrow!
My stats are all in the mid 800's.
That breastplate was an excellent suggestion. I bought one after Maskros suggested in and it did a lot to get me into the 4th battle with him. I mostly used the breastplate and Frost Thorn unless Hydra was frozen and I could drop defense. Sadly, 2 of Hyrda's strongest attacks plus two crits in a row did me in.
The set I am working with now is similar to Maskros except I use the Gorgon over the harp, Ultima Plus Tag over the Soma Tablets, and Im still using my Shrine of Appolonia that Ive had forever. The shrine may not be all that helpful here so Im gonna play around with my set and see what I can do,
hi! Did any of you guys make it to the 10th win with T6 pets?
I got to 10 wins with my mid-T7 pets. Depending on a T6 pet's stats and AP, I think it is possible to pull 10 wins. Some losses might be expected though.
I got to five wins in. I tried again after that; the battles were close but I kept dying to crits.
I was about to edit my previous post but I guess it'd better to make a new one. Good news! I've found a T6 pet (a high-T6 though) who managed 10 wins with only 1 loss. It's Vinoc
Proof of Vinoc's wins: Vinoc's battle stats
I apologise for snooping on your pet but as far as I can see Vinoc is only 214 stats higher than your pet's. The difference can be made up for by using the at the beginning of the battle. It boosts your strength and defence by 100 each, literally giving you 200 free stats in-battle. Paired it with the to boost your defence by 25 further. If you use the that's another 15 free stat boost in-battle for strength speed and defence each. Vinoc's intel is lower than that of your pet's, so I think it is completely possible to get to 10 wins with a pet at r4z0r's stats. is Vinoc's owner so if you need help with set and scrolls you can ping her here. She's very helpful so please don't feel shy.
I didn't, just because I don't have the sp to afford the weapons or scrolls I'd need and I have been too busy to bother trying to borrow them. Good luck though !
Yeah tbh that's probably what I'm going to end up doing lol... I know the weapons are an investment but shrug emoji
wow thank you so much for the information! Don't apologize for snooping, that was super helpful. I actually don't care about losing x many times, so maybe I'll give it a shot? But regardless I've learned a lot from your posts (as an aside, I checked a couple other threads and you explain things really clearly to everyone bless u) and will definitely use the info in the future. And yeah, Jess is actually the one who linked me to this thread! The battle community seems pretty cool.
