I meant to make this topic back during Survival when certain members of my cult-turned-forum-group drowned me in kissing events, flooding me with hearts. Between floods, when I was just getting them in drips and drabs, I found it silly to have to navigate to Louis L'Amour's page to turn in... two hearts.
I noticed that with Wizard Tokens, under 'Other Options' on the item menu, there's a link: 'Add to Currencies'. But with the candy hearts, as well as the Menagerie/Lounge Trinkets, no such option exists.
Sure. I could just mass-add them via the links in their sections of the currencies page. I can do the same for Wizard Tokens, too, with the Exchange, but that hasn't eliminated the 'Add to Currencies' link in the item menu. Which I use when I receive tokens from the Oracle or that RE that gives tokens.
So what I'm proposing is perhaps adding such an option for the Event currencies (candy hearts, trinkets... I'm assuming Vesnali coins and the New Years Tokens don't have it, either).
It is not the intention that all currencies become equal to all other currencies. No Support.
you at least want to regularize one currency so that it behaves exactly like at least one other currency. The feature you want to change isn't the only thing that makes currencies different. To extend your exampte with Wizard Tokens for instance you cannot get candy hearts back out and this will never be allowed for good reasons, but you can get WT back out. There are no "bags of candy hearts" and never will be for good reasons, but Wizard Tokens are frangible.
How useful a currency is and how awkward it is to deal with is deliberate. Otherwise everything would be in sP.
Support. This would be really handy. I've gotten annoyed having a single Steamworks token in y inventory and not being able to deposit it from the inventory. Honestly I was surprised its not already an option.
[edit]
Ok I completely misread some things because I'm tired. :)

I'm not claiming she did. It's true that there is also something else about WT that is different about them than is true of Candy Hearts, and that is my point. If we are going to change the thing about Candy Hearts (and we should not) then we could also continue regularizing Candy Hearts so that they also come in larger units. But we don't do that regularization and we don't do the turn-in one either.
You and OP are using the word "silly" a lot. Silly is having a Masquerade Dance where you are challenged to a duel for Trinkets, or where engineers make monsters for folks's pets to fight just for fun. The whole of Subeta is silly. In the case of the duel and the panzer, sily is in the service of fun. In the case of currencies, "silly" may be not so fun for you? But it has an additional functional purpose of making some currencies worth less than others if only so that you have to load a shop to turn them in. Loading the shop to turn them in emphasizes for roleplaying silly reasons that you can't get them out again.
Support - it would also help any newbies / anyone who doesn't play that often, as an "add to currencies" link would be a clear use for the item (and save them having to try and find where to hand them in).
Although I doubt I'd use that myself (I'm weird and tend to even hand in solitary wiz tokens from the main page, rather than the item use link), I don't see why they shouldn't have the link added.

i would still like this to be A Thing since occasionally people donate currency and you can end up with one or two bits hanging around your inventory with everything else, and personally i'd like to deal with my inventory... on my inventory page...
& if the event currencies get updated with turn-in links, i'd like to see get one as well. e/ esp since there is no direct turn-in link for humming power crystals on the currency page -- you have to know that you need to go to the frag shop to turn them in.
I support. I too, rarely have single bits of currency hanging out in my inventory. But I've always thought it was a little silly that I couldn't handle them in the inventory like I could with Wiz tokens.
All of these currencies already have mass add buttons elsewhere, so it's not like you have to jump through a bunch of currency-specific hoops in general. This would just be ease of access (especially for newbies who might not know they have a currency (ie, candy hearts)).
And my advice for future events- at the start of it, I always bookmark the link to mass donate that event's currency. That way I can quickly access it without additional clicks. (Bookmark on the right side of the page for in-site bookmarks, not computer bookmark.)
