Hiya! I like making stickers, but I always feel like the quality of them could be upped. I always just got sticker paper from a Staples and such, where most of the time, the stickers seem to be paper with adhesive backing. Does anyone who makes stickers have suggestions for sticker paper that is glossy/semi-glossy and at a reasonable price?
Thanks ^^
Also before anyone asks, at the moment, I can't get em done at places at like StickerYou, etc. It's a bit too much and too many stickers for me to sell them all I think haha
I am in no ways a sticker expert, but I used to make stickers back in the day and I laminated all of them (I have a laminating machine) to keep them from getting damaged. I just used normal sticker paper like you have, although depending on what kind of sticker you're looking for there's also "waterproof decal" paper for things like bumper stickers and anything you'd be worried about exposing to the elements as well as even vinyl paper that works well for vinyl sticker making. However, I've heard that you'd still need a protective coating. The only trouble I had with laminating my stickers is that if they were stuck to something like my school binder, which would get pulled in and out of my bag and scraped against things, the laminate would eventually start to peel up. But all my laminated stickers that I made years ago are still perfect on the door to my room because nothing touches those! Hope that info helps ^^
