Avatars aren't appearing properly on the dancefloor. In previous years they'd appear without background items and half of them would be mirrored so they're actually facing each other, but neither of these changes are taking place.

The HA urls appear to be correct (see below), so I'm assuming the "outfit" and "flipped" modifiers were just never implemented in the new wardrobe.

https://sapi.subeta.net/avatar/309297.png?outfit=ball&flipped=1

[edit]

There are also a ton of naked people on the dancefloor for some reason. I tried to collect some user IDs and names in case it helps:

Naked dancers 525817 - Caulfield 376927 - Taffysm 606927 - Maeve 513595 - [NPC] Gossip Anthony 636618 - Salazar 610069 - Aswyn 464035 - claddagh 267956 - Xenomorph 622933 - Willy 85064 - Penguin 436892 - DulceMissy 223064 - DarkAngel

It looks like maybe they're all inactive accounts that haven't been used since before the new wardrobe launched (the most recent forum posts I'm seeing are from October 2016, but most of these accounts have been inactive much longer).

I'm guessing they're naked because it's trying to display their v3.5 avatars, but they haven't been online to manually convert them so there's nothing to show?

The spectators on the left side of the dance floor would be flipped as well (like below - image from last year).

ps - I like how much we've changed since Masq 2016 ;)

I was just thinking - maybe foreground and ground items could be also hidden in the ballroom? They are mainly for adding effects like lightning and borders, or items that are not really needed on the dance floor, like grass or bonfires, and generally tends to mess with the ballroom view.

I like the idea! My biggest pet peeve is Vanishing Cream/Whiteout - they both just make a giant white background and it looks so gross. :c

Ground items are hard because some of them are really cute companions?

We had this problem in the beginning of this event years ago. To bad that old problem is comming back up.

thus for now, I ditched my full background and only kept the daning sceletons. They do fit in when I dance. :)

Perhaps an opt out for when you don't want any back ground of fore ground items to be seen in the ballroom.

I already got a response on this issue here. [edit] I got the impression that this wasn't being addressed because it wasn't a priority, not because it was a difficult problem. Awkward... 😅

I thought at one point it was coded to only allow users with masks on to appear in the background in the ballroom as well - I wish that was back.

All the completely naked HAs kind of ruin the effect. xD

Reya It is still occurring. I don't know how to post screenshots, but I just took a lovely one: where avatars are not flipped, naked, showing background and just not showing up at all.

The flipped HA walking away should be what happens when your dance gets rejected. Pun completely intended ;)

Pitty, the users on the dance floor aren't show as they are. But my concerns are more on the site will still work on the practical, basic things, like accepting requests and see how many minutes I have to invite again, not to long loading times at the forums, and so on. It's not so important for me.

My onley solution is don't take a backgroudimmage or wear only stuff which finely works on the HA. By the way, to speak for myself, I don't mind how somebody's appearance will be, naked, with an odd background immage or just dressed as he/she is. I remember by this event last year there are also problems with the human avatars. shrugs Further on I hope this little estetical problem will be fixed tough.

click This time the picture looks good for the dancers. The others on the side lines are different by each new click on the picture. Sometimes better, sometimes lesser.

Nice too.

I know it's not the most important bug, but it's still disappointing when you consider how often we have to visit the dancefloor and see this mess. :P
