Not sure why. Clicked on three just now that I've used, and they all tell me that they're invalid. Not auto-refreshing or anything either. Legit clicked on a link in a post on the forums and NOPE.

EDIT Adding that not only do the same links work in the notepad, but they also work to give me how much time is left. It's only when I can actually dance does it tell me it's an invalid link.

not exactly the same issue, as i'm not getting 'invalid' links, but every single time i click a link, i get an error and it resets my dancing timer??? i've been trying to dance for the past twenty minutes and have gotten the error at least four times. i don't know if this is an issue with links such as you're having, or something completely unrelated.

Not sure. I can use the same names in the notepad widget just fine, but trying to use the dance link in the forums results in me getting an error that says i have an invalid link. Both are [ dance=user ] links so I don't understand why one works and the other doesn't.

I get an error every time I accept a dance.

[ dance = username ] doesn't work for me either, it says the link is invalid

the link doesn't work in the forum for me and from my friend list/note pad it expires after one dance =(

I click on the "dance" button under a user's name, and instead of saying that I asked them, a second sidebar appears.

In the thread, on the side of the users, as a backdrop.

And the message doesn't appear, or I'm just not scrolling enough down (shouldn't have to scroll)

Yep, also getting invalid errors about 3 out of 5 times I try to dance via dance=username links, and once clicking on the dance button under an HA. Windows/Chrome

I'm also unable to use the [*dance=username] code. I get a 504 or 502 error each time.

I've been getting an unresponsive link, for want of a better phrase, when I go to dance. Which leads to Subetaception. Which takes me back to the news page. Which takes me to an error of I haven't been invited to dance.

Just to note, this is still ongoing.

The [dance= links are not working more than working - mostly saying it's not valid. The dance button redirects me to the forum thread it's on sometimes. The dance button sometimes does nothing. no change at all, no dance, no redirect as above.

Tried chrome, firefox and silk.

Currently I am dancing with myself, then copy/paste-ing the other user's userID number in!

Hoping for a speedy fix.

I cannot believe I did not see this thread when I went and made my bbq own thread for this very same problem. Proof that I should not do things first thing in the morning.

I get that same error but when I go back and hit a different dance link, it works. Then I have to alternate link clicking to dance.

I'm experiencing this as well. It happened just recently, since it was fine about an hour ago.

I've been trying to test this. The first one I clicked on said it was invalid, but it may have reset my timer? I'm not even sure. Every other link I tried seemed to work, at least it showed me my timer... but when my timer ran out (and I was sure I'd be able to dance, as the last time I'd clicked it said I had 5 seconds) and I clicked again, I got a 504 error. And then my timer was reset. So I'm not even sure what happened. In conclusion, I don't know if I'm experiencing this error or not! XD

Edit: Oh wait! so you DID get my invite? I was trying to click on your dance link when I got the gateway error.

Yah. It seems like when it gives an error it still works. As far as it saying invalid...I don't think it works because I can turn right around and use a link in my notepad.

Sometimes I get an error. Sometimes I don't. I always have to click the "dance" button at least twice, though. I'm never sure if the person actually gets my invitation or not.

Was working fine for me until this morning. Now the dance links give me the error as well. Using chrome.
