Hi! I'm Hugo and I'm semi new to this kind of pet site. I never played neopets much back in the day and while I'm active on a few other pet sites (namely Flight Rising and Goatlings) but they tend to work a little differently than this one!

Um as for stuff about me I'm in my 20s, I'm gay & trans, have a cat named Goblin, and am really into marine life! My favorite marine mammal is the west indian manatee and my favorite fish is either the ocean sunfish or the oarfish. It's nice to meet y'all!

first off let me say that i love your username?? it's so cute aaaa. i sometimes forget that goatlings exists until i see the name somewhere and i'm like 'yooo, my friend and i tried to make a silent hill goat on there'. if you need any help navigating subeta, feel free to drop me a line and i'll help to the best of my ability!! it's pretty easy once you get the hang of it.

goblin is the coolest name for a cat tbh - what kind of cat is he if you don't mind my asking?? i'll be real honest here, this is the first cat that comes to mind when i hear the name. i'm certain your cat is quite a bit cuter but still. i love marine life as well, though i would like to know more about it than a currently do! what makes the west indian manatee your favorite? aside from being extremely pudgy and cute.

the ocean sunfish immediately reminded me of animal crossing and they still terrify me.

Goblin is a tuxedo cat! his name would be very appropriate for that kind of cat though. he was named by his foster family before i adopted him and he kinda is a little goblin (he thinks he is very sneaky and he loves to run around at full speed when he's not asleep). marine life is my special interest so i'm very very into it. and honestly the west indian manatee is my fave for those reasons and because it's one of the few marine mammals i've had close interaction with! i went swimming with some in high school and its not something you ever forget.

the ocean sunfish is honestly the dorkiest fish, they only eat jellyfish and they lay on top of the water and sunbathe. though they are huge tbh that can be intimidating but they are like the least threatening large fish besides maybe the whale shark.

PERFECT, i love tuxedos so much! i've always wanted one, but i've only ever had two and one was an orange tabby, and the current one is some big spotted weirdo. but someday that elusive tuxedo will be mine. it sounds like the name is very fitting. i honestly like 'weird' names, so kudos to the family for bestowing him with such a nice one. aaa, yes, good. perfect reasons to love them. that sounds amazing??? i hear about people swimming with dolphins but never manatees and that sounds incredible... im jealous... did you touch one?? what does a manatee feel like??

omg they sound extremely dorky. but yeeeaah, they're a little too big for my tastes. anything bigger than me is a no go. i'll stay far, far away and admire them through a computer screen. i love whale sharks but the other big fish, like groupers.... stay in the deep ocean and never come out ever, please.

I have had mostly tuxedo cats tbh. but my family has always had cats so we have had a lot. before my cat i kept rats who were also black and white so we might just have a preference for black and white animals. And I did get to touch a manatee! If you can imagine what an elephant feels like kinda bumpy and a little rough but also covered in algae cause well they move so slow and all. it's a weird feeling but it was really awesome! and yeah you can only swim with them in certain places in the wild in florida and only really during like the winter when they gather around warm water springs.

i understand that! i personally love like big fish but things like horses scare me a lot. i met a bunch of Clydesdales once and it was wild how big they are. i am that weirdo that likes deep sea stuff though cause just??? it is so interesting to see how alien life that lives that far down looks.

tuxedo's are freaking gorgeous - even if they're one of the more 'boring' colors. of course i love the torties and the calicos a lot, too. my favorites would have to be smoke/black smoke and chimera, but good luck finding either of those for your average house cat. sobs. aaa black and white pets are the best honestly! i actually have a black and white (with a little bit of grey) rat myself. rats are wonderful pets. ❤️ would you ever get another one? also omg that does sound really weird. ;n; but maybe worth a try if i'm ever out there (only been once) - also... swimming in winter sounds terrifying, even in the warm water springs. you get out and immediately freeze to the spot.

aaaa same? like, i was so excited to see and touch the clydesdales they had at a fair here - but when i got close and actually saw how big they were, i was so weak from anxiety that i could barely lift my arm to touch their nose. i was shaking like a leaf. i had a little easier of a time petting the cow, but those things are still huge. we have a giant full mount moose at one of our outdoors mega-stores, and one time i stopped right in front of it (with my back turned) to talk to the person i was with, and i turned around and nearly jumped out of my skin. DO YOU KNOW HOW BIG MOOSE REALLY ARE? BECAUSE I DID NOT. i always picture them (honestly, most animals) smaller than they really are. also i love pictures of the deep sea fish, but i'd be okay if they never got any closer to me than where they are right now, LOL.
