So I am going to an anime convention and I want to cosplay as Nowi^^ I want to make her more modern like since I dont exactly want to show off my stomach haha Heres what I have so far!

im takingthe bow off of this to make the ones that go on my hips ^^ I was thinking about somehow sewing the dragon scales onto the shirt and then somehow connecting the heart and the pendant, but any help and suggestions with this is greatly appreciated! I cant find boots and gloves that match yet and Ive searched everywhere ><

~If you are good at sewing.. for the boots.. I'd get some of the leather/suede looking fabric and make essentially leg warmers that mimic the boots attached to the stockings so the garters hold that up, but they'd cover most of your leg and have the extra hold from the stockings, as well as being snug,,, it's a sneaky way to give the illusion of thigh high boots in a costume but make them easy to move in (in this case stirrups would be perfect). That would also make the actual boots much easier to deal with, just get a closely matching pair of slouchy ankle boots. and use the same material as the leggings to add cuffs to a pair of shirt closely fitted gloves. Now the scales...I'd just sew those onto the tunic you have in the pattern you think mimics her outfit best, and I would sew them on, because glue would ruin that lace. I hope that's at all helpful I can see if I can find a tutorial for the boot thing.

unfortunately I am not that good at sewing >< I want to find thigh boots but I cant seem to find them anywhere, and as for the scales I am not sure if I should sew them on as patches of scales or try to mimic her shirt pattern but its a loose fabric so I am not sure what would look good ;_;

Most thigh boots are cheap ass but I bet I could find em lol I'll have a look around online when I get home.

If you are big on the flaps on the boots you might search for 'pirate'/renaissance boots. Also more likely to get you cheaper, costume quality pieces/boot toppers.

Not sure how much you want to 'modernize' the boots.

There are all kinds of deep purple over the knee boots out there, but that gets into more 'real shoe'/$$$ territory EBay again
