I feel like this has been a small but annoying issue for years.

That's odd...they delete just fine for me? I press delete and they get deleted. I wait a few seconds before going to another page. The events stay deleted.

Yeah they go away right away if I wait a few seconds, but if I click to delete them and then refresh another page right away then sometimes they'll stay gone and sometimes I have to delete them again.

It's not really that big of an issue, and I'm not sure there's anything that Subeta could do to fix this. It sounds more like a browser cache thing or something, because the events thing at the top of the sidebar will always say 0 after deleting even if they pop back up.

Mine take three to actually get rid of the little number notification, like, yes, I acknowledged you, read you, now go away please.

it's not a matter of having to actually delete them more than once; it can just take up to 30 seconds for them to actually stop showing up. they delete the first time you click 'delete' but you'll still see them for a few more page views. literally you click delete once, then go to another page and it's still there, then go to another page and it's still there, then go to another page and it's gone. you're not actually deleting them multiple times, you're just waiting out the clock. it just feels like you have to delete more than once because the event only disappears after you've done it a few times, but it's not because you deleted it a few times, it's because that's literally the amount of time it took for it to stop displaying. it's like pressing the door close button in an elevator - it may feel like you have to press it 10 times before the door closes, but actually the door was going to close at that point whether you pushed the button or not. it's all psychological.

Like I said, it's not a huge issue but it can be mildly annoying.

I remembered the events taking only one click to dismiss. I think the change happened about the same time Subeta started using Cloudflare.

I, too, remember the days of instant deletification. That's my frame of reference. But I see now that my events will clear after about two minutes.

that happens to me. I delete a ping, and a couple pages later, I notice that it's come back onto my event bar.

I would also love to have a way to delete all the pings at once. If you don't get to get on subeta for a few weeks, and you come back to 100/500 pings, it's extremely annoying to have to delete each one individually. I'd love to be able to have a button to click to "delete all pings"
