Sorry if this was posted already somewhere... I couldn't find it, forum search completely failed to load the results for me.
The bonus wizard quest buff only lasts for 15 minutes I think, when you get it. Is there any chance it could be made to last for longer? Considering that we have 30 minutes to complete the quest, I feel like at the least it should last for 30 minutes since that's the time limit for the quest itself. (That makes sense, right?)
But basically, when I get the buff, I feel like I have to scramble to finish it. Sometimes I'm in the middle of other things though, like playing a game, talking to someone, restocking, etc etc... So I think it would be okay to have the time limit be increased so that people aren't forced to do it immediately, if we have something else going on, we still have a chance of using the buff.
I suggest increasing it to 1 hour. That would make it so that it still expires somewhat quickly, but would give players time to finish up whatever they're doing first if they have to, or at least not give us anxiety about doing it in time :P
Thanks.

I always seem to get the buff while I'm already doing quests, so the quick timer doesn't affect me too much - I just switch over to the Wizard and do all his quests before it runs out (incidentally enough, I just got one not too long ago).
But I do think it makes sense to change it to 30 minutes at the very least.
This has already been increased. When it first came out it was just 5 minutes, if I remember correctly.
Personally, I think the 15 minutes is adequate. It encourages me to get my wiz quests done early in the day so that if I do eventually get the buff, I only have to do a single quest, and that gives plenty of time to finish off a game, or interrupt a conversation to do just one quest.
Even if you don't do your quests early, or get the buff while doing quests, its entirely possible to do all wizard quests in the time allotted. Even with my slow computer, I can do it. I've actually gotten the buff, did shinwas quests, then wiz quests and still made it just within the time frame.
Either way, I think one hour is too long. I could support a half hour though.

15 minutes is enough time to do all the wizard quests, but that's only if you focus on doing them all. It doesn't feel like a buff, it feels like a chore, like I have to drop everything to scramble to get them done on time. What if I have to pee (that might take 5 minutes!) Or what if I was in the middle of something else, you know, like cooking or something :/
The main reason for my suggestion, I guess, is that sometimes getting this "buff" makes me more frustrated/upset than happy (which is what a buff should do). And sometimes I just ignore it because I'm too busy with something else, and I just think to myself "Oh well..." I wonder why it has to have a timer at all, to be honest. Why not just give you 1 extra quest for the day, that resets when all the quests reset at midnight?

I thought had mentioned somewhere before that he had been planning to change it eventually so that if you got the buff, it would last the rest of the day (until midnight). Since you can only do one extra quest a day anyway, getting the multiple REs for it is kind of redundant if you've already done your extra quest.
I don't know if this was still a plan or not though, I think it's been a while since whenever he said that. If I can even find a post about it.
Increasing it to 20, or 30 minutes wouldn't solve the problem, people would still feel pressure to complete them quickly.
And, making it last the whole day would make it worthless.
Personally, I wouldn't mind the perk being done away with. One extra quest isn't really a make-or-break deal, now.
I missed out on mine today. I only noticed I had it with 6 minutes left. Do we get an alert for when it activated? Because I noticed the one when it was over.
You get a random event when it's activated, but not a sidebar alert.
Yeah, I agree. Especially since it's only the Wizard quest that does it, like what is the point? And it seems to be so rare now for me, it might as well just not exist anymore.
Well that sucks then. It should be a sidebar alert as well just like the NPC Shop Buff.
I don't like this Suggestion.
Just like any other Random Event, you don't always see them and you don't always think it's worth your while or a good thing: you got them anyways, they're Random.
An opportunity to get +70WT and +40KsP is nice. Maybe not worth it to you to go do the thing to get it or to keep your eye out on your Widget while you are refreshing, but nice. Subeta is not work, it is a game so 'busy' is a weird thing to say.
I think this suggestion has been implemented to some degree, because I noticed this buff says for me now: "Expires in 1 hour 6 minutes 47 seconds." [edit] NVM buffs are just broken right now and counting up instead of down LOL. "Expires in 1 hour 28 minutes 39 seconds."
When I said "busy" I meant busy with other things in my life, not busy with other things on Subeta. A lot of us check Subeta periodically through the day as we do other things. Like I'll check it to play games and do the galley and stuff when the timer resets. But in real life I'll be doing actual work or chores or stuff.

I would like extra time. I've gotten the buff a dozen times, but yesterday or the day before was the only time I actually finished everything and actually gotten the bonus quest! I know I'm slow (partially because I have a slow internet connection). Still, though, I have always felt that this buff was an exercise in frustration.
