Anyone else playing the new Zelda game?

New Zelda death highlights (from 8 for sure):

Death 1 was "How do I fight on Switch?

Death 2 was me WALKING off that 1st tower between 2nd and 3rd ledges down LITERALLY before seeing the "Climb down" option on attempt number 2

Death 3 (5th) was me walking around during a lightning storm. No metal equipped - I just stepped on a metal weapon that a recently slain enemy dropped. RIGHT WHEN LIGHTNING STRUCK IT! Instant death at 4 max hearts. I should have known better - a minute before the death, I saw it strike something not far from me (I saw the bolt hit the ground 100 meters max away)

I haven't died yet, but that's because I've barely played! I've been ridiculously busy. But I can't let life keep me from BotW for long... I've been waiting for this for YEARS!

And hahaha, omg, I didn't know lightning could kill you. Duly noted!

I FINALLY bought the house! I managed to get the bed, lighting, door, sign, 3 weapon mounts, and 1 each of bow and shield mounts.

I managed to get the money by cooking things (apples, hylian shrooms, etc) on a cooking fire - 5 ingredients gets the most money per ingredient. Note: Elixir ingredients need a monster part to make an elixir.

I'm a hoarder. And I made rounds in Kakariko and Hateno villages. And occasionally foraged in forests. And turned in EVERY beetle I could to Beedle and sold what I got (the repeat ones).

Omg, that's awesome! I haven't got to the part of the game where you can buy a house yet, but I assume it's very expensive?

I got a chance to play the game some more today, here are my deaths: Death - One-shotted by a blue bokoblin when I was low on health. Death - Fell off a mountain and died. Death - Fell off the mountain and died, again. Rip

And, I am overwhelmed by how beautiful the world looks! I keep pausing to take screenshots. So gooood

I can be a hoarder, too, so I figure this game is gonna kill me with everything there is to gather.

Cost: 3,000 rupees and 30 Wood (talk to the guy wearing some pink behind the house being demolished in Hateno Village)

I have ALL the upgrades now (2 more each of shield and bow stands, trees, and flowers - you can choose which one to do next); each upgrade = 100 rupees each = total cost: 1500 rupees

Currently working on obtaining another 4,800 rupees to finish the enemy portion of the compendium.

HOARDING IS SO MUCH FUN XD

Near deaths:

Fell into the highland's freezing river (x3) AND came across a guardian walking around - all four of those times I used the Sheikah Slate to warp away before my precious fairies got used up, causing me a EXTREMELY LIKELY death in a few seconds later
