So, I knew that it would be difficult when I signed up for it anyway, but I didn't anticipate it being this hard.

What are your favourite items to use on the new moth skin?

I already know that is the perfect color for doing a more humanoid face. In fact, if you use over it, you can recreate the moth face a little.

But what about the body?

(and other colors) looks really cute on the floofy moths. As for the body, I recommend mostly dresses and skirts. Maybe some baggier pants, if they don't clash with the lower leg area. Shorts and leggings are okay, too, I think?

Here's an example of an outfit I made for the moth skin, while still keeping the moth-like face: Outfit Not Found

I agree about dresses and other flowing clothes, that seems to be the best way to dress without parts of the body sticking out outside of the clothes.

I also think that high waisted skirts can work with no top, if you want to preserve the neck fluff, since it seems to extend down far enough to double as its own shirt.

I was trying to find some shoes that would work but none seemed to. I have a theory that you might be able to layer some kind of platforms under the body and use sandals on top, but I haven't found a combo that works yet.

For the most part, I forgo wigs and face makeups entirely. Trying to bring the moth features back into the realm of human-ish just looks very odd to me, so instead I embrace the anthro-moth look as much as I can.

Like pointed out, the Moth Toy line from Skitters is likely gonna be your best friend. It lets you keep the neck fluff look while hiding how the shoulders and necklines on most tops clip the actual fluff from the skin. If you're working with corsets/sleeveless tops I personally like the Marshmallow pop set from L'Amour for covering the neckline if you feel it looks weird over the fluff.

And yeah, most shoes aren't going to cover those toe claws entirely. The best I've seen so far is from the Hip High Tops set (like I'm wearing) and the Sweet Street Platforms (also L'Amour). In general for the feet, big and chunky will give you coverage, but a lot of the sandals allow room for the claws to poke out as well.

Be wary of skirts that have cut-outs for the hands. Moth arms are just slightly shorter/smaller than regular human arms, so the gaps can be noticeable on bottoms of a contrasting color. Though a long skirt/dress can also bypass the shoe issue by covering the feet entirely.

Below is the outfit I first wore when I got the skin, as well as what I plan to wear for the masquerade should it go normally this year: Private OutfitPrivate Outfit (I might take the Peaceful Green Art Print off my Masq look, you can see the gap I was talking about on it)

P.S., probably not best to take my current look into much account, I got excited by the Rave/Masq hints they've been dropping and this was the best I could do for now. I'm sure they'll be releasing newer and better things when the event is in full swing!
