My battle pet just got to T9 and I'm still running around using my T7 set, so yeah... some help on weapons and scrolls, please? '^^

I've read a bit though the T9 thread below, with that blaster/helmet/whatever. I've always wondered what those components in the Battle Shop were for and well, I've got the answer to that now xD This is as far as I got. I'm lacking the required Very Hard (Refined Components) and Extremely Hard (Intricate Components).... '^^

Firs thing I'd suggest is to start focusing more on training health (and intelligence). The benefits of speed (and to a lesser extent str/def) start decrease around 1000's.

As far as scrolls go, you're going to want a constant % healer. Soothing currents isn't bad at 8% for 6AP - but you may want to look into upgrading: Terra Focujin Scroll - Gives you 2% more heal and 4 icons per turn. Shouldn't be too difficult to make yourself.

Holy Deluge Scroll - Slightly more attach than Terra Focujin, also uses more AP, but again, you can make it in the Secluded Shrine.

There's a number of other healing scrolls listed HERE you may want to look at. I tried to include the more buyable ones.

Poisonous Barrage and Terra Spire are mostly useless. Vengeful tide isn't awful, but a healer is going to be more useful in the vast majority of situations. You'll eventually want to get some freezing scrolls such as Psycho Smasher and Shriek of Despair, May do decently as temporary upgrades.

As far as weapons:

Isn't bad. Deluxe Death Shard would be a logical upgrade here, but low priority.

These are likely your best main attackers for now for the healing and freezing potential, but the low attack on the RIoD is going to hurt you soon.

The lack of any healing on these makes them easy targets for upgrading.

I'd look at upgrading your main attackers to some combination of: 32-39 attack, 10-15 defense, a low blessing and ~7% heal. Only 5% heal, but decent attack and dirt cheap.

~30 icons, 7% heal.

You may look at Weskers replies Here for some better options, I tried to keep my suggestions more affordable.

You'll have more options open up to you at t10. Things like Enchanted Key Staff, Malerias Cursed Arm Bangle, and Pretty Big Tooth for constant attacks.

I agree with keeping the gorgun until you get the energized helmet, the pquill and temple shard. In addition to the bludgeon of mass extinction, Minotaur knocker and gutting knife, I would pick up sierrac basalt flail to replace the frost thorn and you could try the rapier of error. Reborn ice wand seriously lacks in attack for a T9 so I would replace that as well. is a good dark blocker and then once you have 2500 defense you can upgrade to comet flash.

Definitely increase intel. I would also pick up an aftershocks scroll, some cobalt eternals, and healing scrolls like morosbane until you can fit/afford a gift of the forj scroll. Shriek of despair is really good for freezing, but a cheaper alternative you can try are perilous whirlpool scrolls. They have a much lower freeze chance but you can equip 2:1 vs shriek and they block fire as well as do water damage. Very effective against someone like the forj

Thanks to you both. I guess that means I'm going to stalk the Spells Galore shop, since some of those scroll ingredients are a bit pricey. The Secluded Shrine doesn't show me the Holy Deluge Scroll or the Assassin Scroll, nor the Psycho Smasher or Shriek of Despair. So I'll better see to what I can do about Kurama's intel. I never really focused on scrolls (or intel) other than what I picked up ages ago. Well, I guess that's obvious... '^^

So far I was quite fond of the Forj Tempered Kusarigama (got a nice crit with that), but compared to your suggestions I guess it's really time for an upgrade.

You're welcome! Holy deluge is created by making the Winter Spirit scroll at the shrine and then doing a genetech combo with the scroll + tome of water + water shard. Assassin scroll and shriek of despair are both dropped by battle opponents and psycho smasher is an achievement prize for beating general error 10 times.
