I wanted that SO BAD from the moment I saw it, eventually paid what I considered a wildly exorbitant sum for it (though not its current pricetag, I don't think, maybe more like 14m), and then found out it didn't layer correctly with anything I wanted to use it with. Still doesn't. But I keep it. Because Cloak of Winter. And every time I see it I'm like, awww remember that?

but for life in general

When I was just a bitsy kid, they had things like these in the little 25 cent dispenser thingies at our local grocery store, right by the elevators. Chalky and fruity, kind of like Sweet Tarts (not so tart), but they were MASSIVE, I could barely fit them in my little kid face, I LOVED them so much and wanted them all the time. My mom was usually willing to indulge me, since they were only a quarter, and every time I see the Sherbet Saucers it hearkens me back to a childhood spent going to Safeway with my mom. Just generally good memories. :)

This was the first item I truly wanted on site that my friend actually drew artwork for (she was also a member at the time). I used to wear these aaaaall the time.

+ a bunch of Quentin prizes + a lot of atebus items + some old minions. pretty much any old item I used to restock and sell for a lot of sP.

mostly that Rahs Rabbit Following though, used to get 30-40m for them (or more, I don't remember exactly)

I joined subeta during the 2008 fireside event, and I had zero idea what was going on. The only thing I knew was these lil fuckers did sell in the shop.

The person who referred me to this site wore/wears this on their avatar, and so it was the first background I ever saw. And getting the item was one of my first goals. It's still in my wardrobe.

The same user referred and I to the site and I do remember wanting that same backdrop so badly back then haha I do still have my copy I bought too. Another item they were wearing on their avatar was the and I remember buying a set of those back then asap. The first item I was ever given was a that I still to this day haven't used. It's been locked in my inventory ever since and I think if I ever do decide to get a Bloodred Torrey, I'll just buy another elixir lol.

All dark matter stuff! Thought abt this the other day when i came across this in my vault: My first pet was dark matter for a long time & my clothes were all dark matter themed. I love it

any of the items made for keith's 18th birthday, any of the kitty hoodies, and dark matter :") i originally joined right around the time of keith's 18th birthday so the site celebrating that with all the items and REs is like one of my first subeta memories, the kitty hoodies were like one of the first new items that i remember REALLY wanting but so did EVERYONE ELSE so it was super hard to snag one omg, and like every single HA on the site was wearing one at the time it felt like LOL...as for dark matter idk it just feels nostalgic??

In the early days of the wardrobe there were no cosmetic items to give lips and eyes and I didn't like the standard facial features for the bases. I always wore this -

Every time Quentin gives me an item which used to stock in the Graveyard shop I feel nostalgic because that was my favourite place to restock.

This was an item I had sought after for a long time because it was pretty darn cool. I remember getting it was a gift and was absolutely floored with joy!

This was the first huge item I ever buckled down to save up for. I cleared out my entire wardrobe for this and it was the first time I ever saved up over 100m. Good times.

Yet another item that was dropped from Ocean Deoths like crazy back in the day. I remember spending HOURS with my tokens trying to get this.... xD And then I did and I nearly fainted!

Just brings back good memories and just how the most random of items always got my attention... xD
