Hello everybody. Um, I'm not entirely new to this site but in all my time here, I never once gave a proper introduction. I am Madame Nightmare, or you can just refer to me as Nightmare if you wish. I sometimes share my computer with my sister, , she's my only "friend" on this site, ha, ha. I'm so lonely. x3x I apologize if I'm not allowed to make posts like this in the "Welcome & Introductions" category of the forums since I'm not really new, but I don't know where else to create a post like this to be more involved. I have been involved with the Survival forums, but never properly introduced myself.

Well, nothing too unusual really. I just like to draw and play video games. I've been thinking of getting into cosplay lately.

Those are all fun! What's your favorite gaming platform?

I would have to say that I don't really have a favorite, but I play PC games, 3Ds games, Wii U, and Playstation 2 games.

Sounds like you are a well-rounded gamer, which is awesome! Most people just have one platform that they stick with. My husband is an Xbox kind of guy, but I'm a bit more like you, though less current on my gaming platforms because I just can't afford to keep up with the times, haha. :)

Yeah, it seems newer systems always get more expensive each year due to all the "new" features companies try to include in them, which is understandable when they have to compete with companies that have similar ideas. Sometimes I take longer than usual when it comes to getting a new game system because I either don't think about buying it at the time, can't afford it, or there hasn't been enough games that peek my interest for that system.

Between four pets (two of which are on multiple medications each), a kid, a mortgage, a car payment, and my husband's pre-existing debt, I just have no money for something I don't really have time to do anymore! So I've gone from being a dedicated gamer, to a casual gamer. It's mostly PC and game apps on my phone for me now. It makes me sad that I never got very far in my favorite Wii game!

That's unfortunate to hear, but it's best to save your money for more important things in life. Maybe some day you might find the time and revisit your favorite Wii game and get farther in it, but of course other more important things come first.

Maybe in a couple of years when the kiddo is old enough to entertain himself a bit more, haha. I can dream, right? :) In the meantime, there's always the game sites I like to play on. I can justify those by reminding myself that I can win cash, hahaha.

What's your favorite game at the moment? :)

Oh dear, that's hard for me to choose. XD But I always loved playing Okami. I don't as much anymore, but I would spend hours playing it.

I heard so many good things about that game! It was on my wishlist for the longest time. A good friend of mine said it was gorgeous!

Oh it is! As cheesy as it may sound, the art style took my breath away when I first played it.

That's how I felt about Monster Hunter Tri. It was originally designed for Sony, but swapped over to Nintendo at the last minute. The graphics are incredible. I used to load it up just to watch the intro and then go admire the scenery and pick flowers. xD
