It really isn't necessary to file a ticket or to post it as a bug if the site gets laggy during an event. Events like this cause massive strain on our servers, and a little extra lag is to be expected. We try our best to stay on top of it and spool up extra servers if the site becomes unuseably slow, but it's not something we simply do on demand. All of the staff members also play on the site, and use it regularly, and work on it, so we are just as affected by it as the rest of the userbase (if not more so -- we're trying to work here!), and we're aware of it when it happens.
