Whenever I see wearable previews in the forums using [preview*=XXXXX] an old HA wearing the Ayr hair salon style still shows up. Here, I took a screenshot of it.

When I hover items, though, the HA preview I get is normal.

I'm using the latest version of Chrome. I've tried cleaning my cache, cookies, etc. and converting the HA to the new wardrobe more than once! I've also tried the "Click Here to reset your avatar to the default, and then click wear." option the wardrobe give me.

Did I miss something related to the new wardrobe? How can I fix this? I apologize in advance, but I haven't seen this bug mentioned anywhere else.

- Forum previews are busted, and have been since November. They cache the HA base of the first person to view them, and then everyone who comes after that sees the same base for the next few hours until the cache expires and grabs another person's base.

It's a pain in the butt, but there's nothing we can do about it until a programmer fixes it. :/

I didn't know about that! :o That's awful. It's been stuck on the damn green hair for me since the end of December though, shouldn't it have at least updated to some other base by now?

- Oh, whoops. I might have two bugs mixed up here. I think in your case it's actually that it's still using your HA base from the discontinued v3 wardrobe, so converting your HA might help? You can try using this link, but be warned that it will overwrite whatever avatar you currently have in the v3.5 wardrobe:

Yeah that's the thing! I've tried doing so... when I "re-"convert it, the hair comes back. I've tried both removing it and setting it to bald and wearing it (and then cleaning my cache+browsing data, etc.), but it still shows up in the forum previews!

NVM - I think trying it this one more time time fixed it! Just tried your thread on the Survival previews.

- In that case, I'm not sure. :x I'm not sure I've heard of this happening to anyone else. Since it's using your old salon hair and has been for months, it sounds like it's a very user-specific problem and might warrant a ticket? Maybe an admin can fix it for you manually.

- Ok, so this is interesting. I see that hair too now, meaning the server's cache must have grabbed it from your account when you loaded this thread. But... I see that your avatar is completely naked with no hair, which makes no sense.

So yeah, I think something is glitched on your account specifically. I'd file a ticket and maybe link them to this thread. Hopefully an admin can figure out a way to unstick your wardrobe. :D
