I really love the ease of finding/buying/items! It's super improved from all the other sites i've been on! so far it's the perfect mix of gaiaonline and neoppets and i love it! the avatar options are also super great too! yours is beautiful!!!! ^^

one question: what's the purpose/goal of laying down the flowers at the survivor memorial?

I've been on a number of pet sites and have found that subeta is the most user-friendly. I'd also say the community itself is more friendly but... I could be biased (: thank you so much, dear! I love fashion so the human avatar system is my favorite!

~ Welcome to Subeta! <3 I've been on other pet/forum sites too, but I keep coming back here. It can be a lot to take in at first, but I've found it to be the most user-friendly by far! Your avatar is looking great, I love the woodsy look and I'd have never guessed you were a newbie by looking at it (well, except the eyes, gotta put those under the hair layer, but my sis has been on this site for years and she still forgets to do that too. ;) ).

About the survival memorial: you can earn achievements for laying flowers. Go to personal --> achievements, and you can see all the achievements on the site and check your progress on them. Some achievements offer items or titles as rewards at different tiers (marked by a little yellow star). ^^

Thank you, Melody! That's such a quick fix but it really made a big difference! Oh and thank you for the note about the flowers, too! I didn't realize the achievements actually had a tangible purpose! ^^

You're right, there's LOADS to do around here and it is definitely overwhelming in the beginning! Dont worry, you'll get the hang of it and form your own little routine really quickly ^_^ There's lots of easy ways to make money which is something I really love!
