That moment when you've spent 3 happy hours creating an HA that you love and then you try to save it and you realize you're 17 items over the max layer limit but you can't get rid of any of them because you've already curated the heck out of every single item on your cartoony body...
How many times does this happen to you? Do you just delete things until its "ok, I guess", or do you save a screenie and then banish it to the depths of layer-limit purgatory.
17 items over the limit, wow, sometimes I barely even reach the max items you can use, I think I've never reached the limit
weeeeeell if you get a GA the max limit goes up by 15 soooooooo xD
ok but i rarely hit even 20 items sometimes even with my complusary backing layers but tbh after 20 items, i always watch my layers carefully when making HAs so i dont overshoot

I find when I make elaborate HAs (which is often) I'm often 2-3 items over the limit. It bugs me SO much x_x
i barely get over the limit bc of how simple my HAs are lol. thats a tonne of layers though! btw, that HA right now is so dope!
<( )
I don't think I've ever in my life even used 30 items on my HA even before we switched to item limits vs. layer limits. But tbh I'd save it to my outfits anyway and deal with it later/find 2 items to remove and wear it when I have a GA again (but I have a GA pretty regularly)
thank you for your replies! <3 I'm not sure, either, how in the world I use up so many layers so quickly. I think its because I use some items to create desired shadings or alterations rather than just a use of the item in its natural form. Sometimes you can't even really see the item itself, it just creates a shadow where I want one. This site has such a wonderfully flexible layering system that's so fun to use...so different from other avi sites. Its so easy to max it out, haha.
Thank you so much! I love yours, too. I think that, aside from an opportunity to be creative, my other favorite part about this site is seeing all the different ways that everyone combines items to achieve such a wide array of unique looks.
nice! I didn't realize there was a way to gain more layers. I may have to consider that.
@Cresenta ...someone else that knows my pain. XD
