I have been away for ages and have found some of my wearables are in my armory and I'd prefer them in my wardrobe.

I think you can remove items once you're editing a set. Go to your armory, click "Edit Set" on any set you have, Now there should be a list of all the weapons in your armory, and they should all have a red "Remove" button beneath them.
