A good friend of mine left subeta and I was so lucky to be given her tier 10 battle pet and weapons, she knew I battled with a tier 6 pet so had at least some clue. I know we're talking lots of cash items and I dont want to make any mistakes, can I show you the weapon set I have made for Raggy and some items I have left over, if anyone can say if there are better options at this tier I'd be grateful. I had bought lower tier items myself, but the higher ones were given. I also have scrolls but I think they are ok for now.

You've got very nice weaponry for your pet. I'd swap out the blackheart blade for another blaster, the though. Blackheart Blade doesn't heal and may not give you an edge against other T10 opponents.
A few other options: Plenty of water damage, good against Cursed Effigy the Tormented, and later Flamagia. Pair that with the paintbrush blade (Cursed Effigy) or Possessed Bow (Flamagia) and you're good to go I'd recommend the , which you can save battle tokens to make by battling the Extremely Hard challengers. I don't know about Raggy's stats, but I think a T10 pet can take on opponents up to L25 and probably a couple in the L26-30 range pretty easily.
Thank you for your advice, its very much appreciated. I dont suppose you'd know when Daemon (Servant of the Seas) would be available to fight? its a throwback challenger, does that make it a random time? raggys stats: Level: 704 Health: 2758 / 2758 Strength: 1737 Defense: 1730 Speed: 1720 Intelligence: 1154 Tier: 10 Rank: 888 I am continuing to train the 4 main ones. I have got a Refined Energized Arm Augments tucked away for when i can get the next level item for it. thank you once again.
I would replace your blackheart blade with the phoenix quill and definitely make the energized helmet from the battle shop to replace the scientist specs. The pbow and trident are both very good. Have you modded them yet? parched baguettes are great on the trident to increase your water damage. Other than that, blessed armor is nice to prevent stealing, crit hit crystals help give you a chance to double damage even if your speed is less than your opponent's, and singed baguettes give you a chance to do a small amount of unblockable curse damage. What is your budget like? Ideally, you want a weapon to block a lot of every icon so you can pick weapons depending on who you are battling. With the trident and pbow, you have fire and wind covered. The trident's blessing will also protect against magma, water and earth but you will still want a reliable weapon to block each of those icons.
What scrolls do you have? Scrolls can be the difference between winning and losing. The more AP you have to fill with scrolls the better.
Daemon (SoS) is also a throwback challenger so I'm not sure when they will bring her back. They will go through all the ones that haven't been brought back first before they start cycling through ones that have already come back.
Wow, thats a thorough dissection right there! thank you very much. heres the crystal info:
B.T.B.O : Blessings natural armor, critical strike, parched baguette, parched baguette.
Science specs: critical strike tear.parched baguette.
P Bow: blessings natural armor, critical strike tear, parched baguette.
recycle blaster: parched bagguette.
rainbow vortex: blessing natural armor.
reviver of the lion: 1 empty slot.
Equipped scrolls:
divine denizhen, cobalt eternal,morosbane,fatal fire,sancturia exodin,gelaspell.
Ive also got a few more lower ap : terra focujin, perilous whirlpool, homing meteor, inferno, almighty squall, another cobalt & morosbane. im using 66 ap, and raggys got 72 now. phew!
Ive only got about 50 million sp, im doing the sp sprint, to get to 100mil by 1st march,so cant really afford a ton more stuff, but selling items is going very slow atm 😁
Hmm, I would recommend for a water blocker that is affordable. is a decent dark blocker when you get to 2,500 defense. is an interesting weapon that changes what it blocks based on your strength.
Once you save up enough I would pick up to replace divine denizhen. More perilous whirlpool scrolls are good for a cheap freezer. {item=unstable fairy scroll] is also very good as you go up in speed as an infinite use chance at freezing scroll
Can I be cheeky and ask you about stats? or should I ask in the battle forum again cause its different? anyway here goes. Raggy stats are: L 704 Health: 2758 Strength: 1741 Defense: 1730 Speed: 1724 Int: 1158. By my adding up, hes very near to tier 11, at 7953. I am training him, but I could do with knowing what I should be concentrating on as its not cheap now and takes ages, i can buy a few boosters but not a lot as mentioned earlier lol. should I just be aiming to get the four H S D S, even at this point? thank you if you can spare the time. I did look on the battling thread for similar info.
: sorry for butting in but just wondering if you do battle quests everyday. That's a cheap way to earn stats, and I think you can gain at least 10 free stat points per day if you complete them. At your stats I think you can take on Generor Error and Flamagia, and if you're lucky you can get to level 29 occasionally. If you're less lucky, you can still bag 17,600 EXP everyday.
At this junction I don't think you should try to get every other stat even with Health. Your friend might have had a good reason for pumping up Raggy's health to help them tackle opponents earlier than a perfectly evenly trained pet usually can. Some people will prioritise training up speed to use some good, affordable weapons which are speed-based (Serriac Basal Ice Flail, sorry for any typo), or speed and attack to prevent crit hits and finish the battles quickly. Some prioritise defence and health for better survivability, at the sacrifice of the duration of the battles (me belongs to this group). Some people ignore speed entirely (I've seen quite a few with gigantic health and 0 speed). Again it's personal preference and tactics, as well as what you're willing to sacrifice. No matter what build you're going for, I'd stress the importance of battle quests over and over again XD
Do you know ive been silly and dont do those! i just take raggy to the training place, as you can imagine as much as i love the pet, it was rather overwhelming to be given him lol. ive changed his name and looks, but only now am i appreciating how strong he is,and it would be a waste to let him rot. thank you very much for all your input, i shall do the battle quests as well now. i think id be in the quick battle camp. I bought the serriac ice flail on earlier advice, and been adjusting my scrolls too. thank you very much.
I would definitely do battle quests every day. It is the cheapest way to gain stats quickly as suggested. I think your stats look good so far. At some point you are going to want to concentrate on a final build for your pet. High health is always beneficial because it helps you heal more per turn and survive against opponent critical hits. All stats matter but definitely increasing your health more allows you to take on harder opponents earlier on. As far as what other stats you should focus on is completely opponent based. I would have a goal in mind as to which challengers you want to be able to beat next. It may be that you are not doing enough damage to the opponent so you will want to boost your health. If your opponent hits hard it may make more sense to boost your defense so that your opponent does less damage per turn instead of dumping a lot more into health. If you are close to your opponent's speed, then it may make more sense to boost speed so that they can't crit hit you anymore. It's never too early to start thinking about a final build. It's good to start thinking now how you want to scale stats because the later you wait, the harder it becomes to get the final stats you want.
I would also definitely increase your intelligence. The more AP you have the better. Scrolls often fill in the gaps for weapons you don't have. You can equip a lot of freezing scrolls for chain freezing or a lot of healing scrolls for healers that can't be stolen.
that is all great advice, thank you. i will definitely start thinking about all that, raggy has only got 72 intel, so theres that for a start. thank you very much.
