I seen a bit of that show back in high school..something about the main guy having something to do with the devil or something..something about him made him immune to things..(MY teacher taught nothing and just turned the tv on without out even checking what was on tv..)

Wow. Never had a teacher do that. Occasionally we'd watch movies in some classes and once a teacher let us all watch Bones after exams, but never that.

Stranger Things has a good mystery and supernatural element to it. I also liked A Series of Unfortunate Events.

Let's see, there's BBC's Sherlock, X-Files, Doctor Who possibly, and maybe Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries (haven't watched much of that one, but it doesn't seem to be too gory and it has a mystery/history element since it's set in the 1920s). The Bletchley Circle is also a good one (British WW II code breaker ladies teaming up to solve murders/catch murderers).

Haven't seen much of Glitch, but you might like that, too. It starts with people rising from the dead, but their less zombies and more people confused/in denial about their deaths. There's questions about why these specific people (all different genders, races, eras) are now alive and how it happened. And questions about whether or not more will rise and what it all means.

Anyway, that's about all the Mystery/History stuff I can think of. Hope that helps.

Timeless, I mostly watch it for the history but It does have some mystery/conspiracy going on.
