I didn't see this reported anywhere else, so hopefully this isn't a repeat...When I try to play the balloon popping game I get an error saying "You can't purchase that! Make sure you have enough currency in your currency bank!"

do you have enough wizard tokens in your bank?

Well, this is embarrassing. I thought I did but when I got the error I didn't even think "wizard tokens" when it said currency. A more specific error message would probably be a bit helpful since it's not what I'd consider a "purchase", but yeah, my fault.
