As I mentioned earlyer on the the SB, I had a scare with my old 3DS suddenly haveing a bloated battery after being stored away for afew weeks at lest after my last trade between Sun and Moon games. The expanded battery actually pushed the back of the 3DS up to the point I wasn't sure I could open it to get the battery in question out ( since I had alot of good Gen 1 pokes I wanted to save on that system, this was upsetting for me). Thankfuly I got the battery out with no damage besides cracking the back around the busted screw and am now waiting for my new battery to ship.

However...other then my gen 1 pokemon, the friend safaris that I have gotten the 3rd pokemon on in X are ALSO on that 3ds, meening if I don't want to lose that third when the 3DS get's it's battery, I can't use X on my other 3DS until then. This is a pain as I have afew rare ( as in Dream World only) hidden ability pokemon I want to move and a load of shinys. I plan to breed afew to move to Y after I get that battery back in to avoid this mess a second time but until then, the wait begins.

Any pointers in the meen time? Btw I will be breeding said hidden abilitys in Sun and Moon when I can move them so if anyone's interested go ahead and ask as well ( No Defiant Piplup or Snow Warning Amura though. I still lack those out of legaly obtainable Hidden Abilitys.

Apparently Gen 1 pokemon always have their HA when transported up from RBY! Good to know, right?

Agreed I started to move afew gen 1s from the games on the 3ds that's still able to be used, though the games are not as far along as the ones on the old 3ds.

that said afew of the said rare ones are not Gen 1 unfortunately ( No Gaurd Karablast, Overcoat Shellmat, Overcoat Burmy, Frisk Furret) and are in X so to avoid loseing the third pokemon in the safaris I'll still have to wait on those. The battery should arrive on Wendsday, crossing fingers.

oh man that stinks. I had that problem with my old brick ds with a bubble battery. Sad thing is I bought it with the funk battery. >w< But yeah pokebank is nice for gen 1 stuff. I plan to move it all before I restart pokemon red. Also going to restart moon and do a starters only run with my sister. :D

Got my battery in today and it seems my old 3DS is back in working order. ^^ Already starting to move afew pokemon to sun and moon, though I have so many extra gen 1 pokemon moved that I may need to trade afew to local friends x_x.

I will have afew non gen 1 hidden ability pokes ( No Gaurd Karablast, Mold Breaker Basculan and Study Tyrunt) about to be moved to Moon for breeding shortly.
