Also, there's a "secret????" MC one, involving the sphinx stuff.

I never understood why the CS challengers have to retire every month until Black Friday, and even then not all of them are available (for example the current year's). Is it really that special?

Some games are too eager to sell you DLC in your face in an instant click of a button, but this is quite the opposite. If a battler is new or back on hiatus, it isn't really encouraging to force them to spend time waiting, or in the case of an unbuyable: searching and shelling out many times the value of a summoning item. It doesn't make business sense either for the site.
