On the main shop page it's in the Battle section which says - All the items you need for battling can be found here. The shop's stock is mostly elixirs which aren't battle weapons.

The suggestion is to move the stat boosters and healing potions to one of the real battle shops, change the Apocalyptic Apothecary name to something suitable for a shop which sells elixirs and colour changing potions and have it just for that.

Yes, I know it would be more or less the same as the old Magic Shop but it really doesn't make sense to advertise it as a battle supplies shop.

A better solution might be just to stop stocking elixirs all together (potions can stay). Does any one use them all that much? There are tons of them around the site, and they're all pretty cheap these days (most are under 60k and not really worth restocking for profit), and the only thing really propping that up is Saggi's quests. Battlers have been complaining for a while that the merging of the Magic Shop with Apocalyptic Apothecary had seriously hampered the acquisition of common battling potions, so this would rectify that.

Instead have elixirs be given out infrequently from some other avenue (Drills, maybe), and possibly have an elixir item sink event to mop up the excess. I've got tons of them lying around. You can have them.

Also change the shop description to indicate that it's not just battling stuff, since that what this suggestion is actually about.

Another solution would be to re-open the Magic Shop for elixirs and species potions. After all, it's not like Subeta has to pay NPC shopkeepers. :) There'd be no problem with having to think up new stock for it because pets are made available in the newest colours every so often.

This is a weirdly pointless suggestion. An easy 'fix' would be to re-describe the shop and do nothing else.

There's a reason the AAs stock was augmented, it's because of the way that restocking works now a shop runs better if it has more possible items. Any shop-split would be detrimental to the economy as a whole.

I have no problem stocking battle supplies from this shop, and I'm a battler. I have fifteen pets t12 or better and another seven t8s.

I have no problem making a profit selling elixirs from this shop. Elixirs just took a hit in price since many of the Free Shop restocks this past year were elixirs. They will recover soon enough.

I personally have colored my pets with elixirs and was pleased to do so.

So what if the price of elixirs is propped by Saggitarius? The majority of items on Subeta have some kind of price support, the toy economy here hasn't been a laissez faire capitalism for many years. What's it to you that you need to destroy or devalue them or remove other users' fun with them? Got extras, you can fragmentize donate or recycle them just like any item here.

Yes. Some people do use them that much.
