Who else is SUPER excited about the new Nintendo Switch!???

I just put in my pre-order! x3 Console and Breath of the Wild. Can't wait!

I'm so tempted to get Skryim as well, just to have a portable version of it. But I don't play games much away from home, and I already have the remastered PS4 version, so that's kinda stupid (says the person who would jump so hard on a Fallout 4 port, if the Switch ever got one). ^^;

I can't wait for the release! LoZ Breath of the Wild and Splatoon 2 look awesome!

My PS3 and PS4 were bought years after release. I imagine it'll be the same for the Switch. I like the concept behind it but I'm waiting to see if in the long run it's actually worth buying especially considering how badly the Wii U did.

Like I am going to wait to see if I really want / need it. The idea behind it sounds interesting but I'm not sure if it's matching my gaming style...

I really like the concept of the Nintendo Switch but I'm not sure if it's something I'd be interested to buy. I've owned a few Nintendo over the years and XBOX too but I've found myself more interested in PC games. If I take a look of at the games and TBD, it looks like I'll pass on this one for now and maybe forever.

Definitely want to try it out tho!

I'm a loyal nintendo gamer who owns almost every console of them (except the DS and GameCube) and I do like the new Mario game but other than that it's pretty much a no for me. I'm going to wait till more Mario games come out (except from the Mario kart that I already have but without the upgrade that's coming for the switch that's ridiculous. Why not for the Wii U too?)

I am super interested about ARMS. The character designs are so bright and fun, and the gameplay seems fun too!

Super Mario Odyssey looks absolutely stunning and amazing. It had some sort of magic during the trailer; it made me pumped for a big adventure! I wish it came out sooner, but I can wait....

I also wanna get Breath of the Wild, (it already looked good but that trailer sold me on getting it) Splatoon 2, (I really like the character customization!) and Sonic Mania (was already planning to get it on PC, plans have changed now)

Surprisingly, I don't really care about Breath of the Wild or Super Mario Odyssey. What's really got me excited (and I literally just found this out like two days ago): GAMECUBE VIRTUAL CONSOLE. I have been wanting a portable way to play Gamecube games for so long that I was even considering teaching myself to solder so I could try to make one myself. BUT NOW I DON'T HAVE TO!! I'm really hoping Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door comes to Virtual Console. If that happens, oh man, I can die happy.

Not really because I have a DS and I don't want it to become obsolete after getting it relatively recently though I guess it's no one's fault but mine for getting it so late lol. xD

Wii U got seriously fucked over, and I'm afraid of the same thing happening to Switch as well, so I'm gonna wait and see. I lost all hype for Zelda after it kept on getting delayed and delayed just for Switch, so the only game I'm interested in right now is the new No More Heroes.

Nintendo needs to just give up and go third party. The PC is the best market for gaming, and that's where they should be targeting their games to.

Honestly, I've lost a lot of faith in Nintendo. I bought a Wii U because there was so much promise and then ended up getting maybe three games? Breath of the Wild kept getting delayed, no Metroid game, very slim pickings in terms of games. They've just been getting more and more "meh" for me.

I'm just gonna wait and see. I don't want them to fail, but they need to get their crap together.

Got the Switch preordered, but it's not set to arrive in the mail until the middle of next week. It's okay. I'm patient.

I'm going to be in the minority of people who think that the Wii U won the console generation handily in terms of game quality.

Nintendo have never won me over with home consoles (I've had a DS Lite, 3DS XL and N3DS XL though). I suppose that's not really their fault when the only franchine I play is Pokemon though, so I could never justify a whole console just for a couple of games. I've had a PS3/PS4 for other games for years and I just didn't grow up with Zelda/Mario/Metroid/etc. I do like the look of the new Zelda game but yet again: not enough to spend £280 on the Switch. Unless they bring out a main series Pokemon game on there that isn't on the 3DS, I will probably not be buying one.

We'll see how Nintendo goes forward with their portable lineup. The 3DS is a great system, but it's unclear how they're going to replace it when that day comes. The Switch is portable, but who knows it's supposed to work alongside their portable market, or if it's supposed to BE their portable market.

Kind of glad to see the reviews for BotW are nothing but positive. I'm getting kind of excited about this. I've never actually bought a console on launch day before.

I'm still waiting for my copy of Zelda BotW, so I got VOEZ to play in the meantime (I actually ended up more excited about that instead of Zelda! xD). Really impressed so far. The screen is SO SHARP and colourful!

I can't get over how tiny the damn thing is though! xD

Edit: BotW came! Haven't played very much, but I'm loving what I've seen so far. It's so different from previous Zelda games, but still so familiar. :o

My Switch arrived earlier than I thought it would. Yeah, it's surprisingly small. It makes sense, because you can undock it, but I still wasn't prepared for it.

All I've played so far is Real RMX, which is a nice little F Zero type game with some hints of Wipeout and Ikaruga. It's fun so far. I'm waiting for BotW... I don't get my copy until next week. In the meantime, I'm going through Twilight Princess.
