I have been trying to re-work one of my ping groups. I had the ping-group set to "invite only" and I get a 404/405 unable to reroute type error pop-up when I try to invite any users/hit the invite box. It does not let me type in any names.

I am having this issue too. I just tried to invite someone into a Private Group and it won't let me type a user name in the invite spot.

You cannot tell, but I'm actually clicked into the box and able to type a name, I just have 0 way to see what I've typed.

When you did this, did it work? I get a 404 error pop-up when I try doing this.

Yes, it did work when I tried. It's possible it's not registering that you've clicked inside the box and therefore it's not acknowledging when you try to type a name? Only a guess since we cannot see the box contents to know for sure =/

Hmm, I'll have to play around with it then. Maybe if I can figure out how to tab inside the box to make sure I'm actually in it would work. I can press the box on my phone but it only lets me select names from the drop down and of course those are ones that are already invited!

We're starting to get a pretty big queue of people that need to be invited to groups sigh

Hopefully they can fix the box size soon. I know Wizarding has a lot going on that relies on you guys having folks in the right groups :(

For sure. I could always set them to admin approval only, but there is a window of time between joining and being approved/denied that the requesting user can see the forums for that group without even needing approval. I'm not okay with that!

Yeah, I've noticed that too. I'm bummed they haven't yet fixed that either.

It definitely isn't ideal, but you could put up admin approval and have people join the group via linking to the group. I also added a comment asking people not to join unless I link it. Unfortunately, that means other people can try to join, but you can deny them. I've been doing that because it's been over a week with no updates.

Just thought I'd toss out the suggestion in case you really need to get people in your groups!
