I plan on starting a CW shop soon, and I want to make some graphics to make it look pretty.

Would using brushes by other people to create the banners be a commercial use of their brushes? I don't want to get in trouble for using them if it is a commercial use.

I've never thought of this before - you wouldn't be profiting directly from the brushes but I'd strongly recommend contacting the artists for direct permission.
