Honestly, I'm not sure why this doesn't already exist. We have an official site item directory, so why don't we have one for the CWs?

With the pawn shop closing, this'll be another way for people to see CWs they didn't catch before, that isn't reliant on subetalodge.

I mean, I'm not against it, I'm just not sure what it would bring to the table that we can't already do in the wardrobe

there is the wardrobe but (and i don't know about everyone else) i've always hated looking through CWs there simply because i don't know what's attainable and what isn't. in the past i've found so many great CWs i've wanted and probably would have been willing to shell out cash for, but it always turned out that they were private or something along those lines. it's always been a hassle to find out, in addition to the crushing disappointment, so something that could identify those items would be helpful...

i don't even know if it's possible to do that, of course. i've distanced myself from (most) CWs just because most things seem out of my reach, particularly where money is concerned these days lol.

Since the site doesn't recognize private CWs, they likely wouldn't even make the attempt to categorize things that way. I, personally, would like it if they were able to see how many batches of the items were released on site, but I can imagine that would be massive amounts of work.

I've found even the new wardrobe has it's glitches. I'd rather have a directory, I would find it easier to go through.

ah, okay, thank you for explaining it to me! i'm not very familiar with the details of the whole system, so that's good to know. and thank you for pointing out the thread, Darkrai! i'll be sure to look to it from now on. i only found out there was such thing as a private CW when i put up a thread looking to buy one lol

Privates cause enough drama without the staff's endorsement XD Ironic, considering CWs were not meant to become the market that they did. They were supposed to be private, just for friends things

Having an actual directory will make it easier to go through and wishlist things. I also like reading descriptions. That's two things I can't do from the wardrobe. I know we also have some helpful members who posts new releases on the Release Custom Wears thread but it's all separated and in chunks so it'll be nice to have one spot to see everything. This will make their jobs easier, too. A cw directory would be really nice to have.

I haven't checked since the wardrobe updated, but it never used to give me all the items when I tried to look up CWs there. So, yeah, a directory would be nice. Doubly so if it included availability information (even if it was just "this item for sale in [user]'s CW Shop" vs. "not available").

I mostly want a better way to find out about upcoming/new releases though, I can't stand poking through the forums like an idiot
