Hi! I came across this website as a possible replacement for neopets (played that since I was a kid), and am really loving it so far! The games and avatar customization and pet art are a definite improvement over neo. Most everything here is an improvement, actually. I'm looking forward to getting established, working on collections and achievements, and making friends. I have yet to find out how friendly this place is. ;) I hope to meet some of you over the course of the next few weeks/months and learn my way around subeta! Tips are much appreciated. Edit: Very friendly! :)

I do have one newbie question if anyone can answer it: how do you add a simple background to your profile? I've been looking up forum messages and trying different codes out for the past 30 minutes and can't figure out how to do it. It's probably embarrassingly easy, but I am hopeless when it comes to coding. Thanks for any answers you can give Answered!

Thanks for the welcome! I found that premade profile after a while of searching. A lot of the forum posts I looked up for guides on coding and such were completely blank. Strange.

There's a current forum glitch which is being worked on which makes some of the opening posts blank, particularly older ones (and lots of the guides are older threads) All of the content is actually still present, so if you click the 'quote' button you can still read the information in the guide, sorry this is a kind of backwards way to work around it, but hopefully it can be fixed soon :)

once every three month or so to feed my pets XD I feel bad about that, but there's nothing going on there and all the people I used to talk with left. I have made a new home here - and even took one of my neopets names with me giggles I also own Lale on there thinking of which.... I need to feed them

Yep, my poor pets on my neo side accounts never get fed because I never have a reason to log on to them... I love that here you just have one account and as many pets as you want (by buying the add-ons). It's so nice not to have to keep track of more than one account. Aww, both Lales are so cute! :3

I always feel guilty since I still have unconverted pets over there (5 of them on all accounts) and so I find it hard to leave completely. But as said I am just feeding them XD

But it's nice to see players from there coming over. YeaI like the idea of having all my my pets on one account

My favorite thing lately has been collecting plushies/beanbags/minions and working on my avatar :) I LOVE the daily quests for making money! I hated having to play loads of boring games on neo!!

Me too. I've been on a mad hunt for collection items. I want to redo my minion zoo though and just put animals in there that strike my fancy. So far I've just been tossing everything I get in. And avatars are so enjoyable to work on! I could spend hours just looking at all the clothing options. xD

And I agree! I think my favorite part is the way to make money through quests! It also helps for beanbag/plushie collecting, because if they ask for something I don't have in my collection yet, I buy two and stick one in! They also give out a lot of plushies and beanbags for completing quests. The games on neo were so time consuming for not that much np. I love the ease of making money here.

I've been doing the same this with collectables during quests (buying two) and hoarding all the reward items haha. SO glad I made the switch!
