Okay. I just recently got a 1x1 thread locked because it was 1x1 and not opened to everyone. Now I am baffled because this is the first site to do it.
Hear me out,
So I what I am suggesting is for a sub Forum in the RP section for 1x1 roleplays.
Open to suggestions and opinions.
Couldn't you make a forum group if you wanted to do 1X1 RPs?
What do you mean? (sorry I'm a bit confused on what you are asking) You can advertise to do a 1x1 but you are not allowed to have a thread for 1x1 in the forums. This suggestions is asking for a forum group for 1x1 rps.
EDIT: I may not have stated that clearly. I am sorry.
Create your own forum group for 1x1 RP, as you can create forums linked to your forum group.
The reason why 1x1 are not allowed in the public forum is because of past drama that happened in the past, with people banning others from RP with no reason, mods getting involved and the RP forum generally being a pain.
That is ridiculous and childish, who even does that?
I see why they are not allowed now. Thank you for explaining why,
Why not just 1x1 over e-mail? Unlimited space.
Because some emails have someones name in it and it could be uncomfortable for people to share it. As well as making a completely different email address that you could possible lose passwords to.
The point of this was to be able to 1x1 on this website that is where you found the partner. On the forums where, unlike sMail, you wouldn't have to delete after awhile. Many people have slow internet and can't use more than one tab on their device as well as many other reasons.
This is the first website that I have witnessed to not allow 1x1 in the forums.
It might just be me. Oh well, there's no reason now to pursue this suggestion anymore.
Just to clarify what was saying. If you create a ping group, you can create your own private forum section only visible to users in that group and use that for 1x1
would you like me to lock up this suggestion? :)
Oh. Okay. I think.
And that kind of forum wont get locked?
Yes. I guess.
It shouldn't, no. You can file a ticket to make sure though if you want a definite answer (the private group forums don't have mods anyway so someone within the group would probably have to file a ticket to have it locked in the first place)
