I got two notifications of 5 bathhouse tokens and an extra pet slot. I thought I only had 13 out of 14 pet slots used before the event but my pet page now says 13 out of 16. I have no idea how many bathhouse tokens I had before this event because I never bought anything from the shop but 35 might be too many.

The same thing happened to me as well . Got 2 alerts for a pet spot and 5 bath house tokens. It gave me 2 extra pet spots and 10 bath house tokens. I had 18 pets so the extra pet spot should be 19 not 20. What do I do now?

Disappointed that it's a glitch. I thought it might have been because we did soooooo well. Not that I'm ready to use mine yet :)
