Gamers are a passionate, lovely people and it's about time that y'all have a home. No matter your passion or skill level, if you'd like to talk games this is the place for you!

What type of games? in short, all of them. The "gaming industry" represents about 20 billion in annual revenue and that's a boring statistic to say that just about everyone has played some form of game and enjoyed the hell out of it. The idea of what a "gamer" is has evolved and subeta has everything from tabletop to PC to console. The goal is to be accepting of everyone's interests and because there are so many different genres and games out there, I'm confident that you'll be able to find someone that's interested in what you are. If you don't find them, you can always convince them! Turning people on to new games is always encouraged and loved.

What do I have to do to be an active member? We accept members of any activity level because we accept that large quantities of your time will already be spent in far away worlds. You won't be kicked out for not being around, but if you'd like to chat with us every day or host an activity, we'll love you for that too.

How do I join? just join! is our group, there's no application required. We'll never turn anyone way - we accept multi-cult members (both focus and non-focus) and in the event that there is ever a second gaming cult we will require all of their members and our members to purchase battlefield 1 and will duke it out in-game until a victor is decided and then we'll ransack the other cult's bank as one does in that scenario.

a note on rules: We don't have many rules, the big one is to be respectful. We're going to take a zero tolerance policy when it comes to provocative speech. While being critical of a game is more than acceptable (especially when you make your feelings known in an intelligent way) expletive on something someone loves just to get a rise out of them is a no go.

The rule of thumb is to talk about you enjoy rather than to talk down about what other people enjoy. Every transgression is looked at individually, if you can't work out your differences with another member please bring it to my attention and we'll figure out a solution comfortable to everyone. Please note that situation may be 1v1ing each other in Overwatch until a winner is determined. Maybe Street Fighter, but honestly I like the mystery duels in Overwatch so much.

We open officially January 1st so between then and now you'll see some changes and fine tuning. (Mostly in the forum organization and graphics area.) I do want to build a little leadership team to help with discussions on platforms that I don't have access to so if you're interested drop me a comment. On January 1st I have two contests planned and three giveaways and if you're interested in joining I'd love for y'all to add to our opening ceremonies.
