This is the base image I'd like edited. I want both recolouring work and line edits so the pet is Ninja Sex Party themed. For anyone unfamiliar they're a comedy band, and I want each half of the pet to represent one of the two members of the band. The horse half will be styled after Danny Sexbang and the snake half after Ninja Brian. (Warning if you check them out: their music isn't exactly safe for work, as their name implies!)

Line edits:

• horns removed and unicorn horn added
• mane removed and new hair drawn (see reference; more can be provided)
• slight change to the horse half's mouth so it's smiling instead of neutral. It can be subtle, Danny is just not a frowny sort of dude, so a smile is more fitting!
• possibly a more intense stare for the snake head (I know it's a small area to work with but Ninja Brian is known for his intense stare.)
• possibly changing the spots to little 6 pointed stars if not the more literal 6 pointed star on the chest. It's a staple of Danny Sexbang's outfit so I'd like to incorporate it somewhere/somehow.

Colour edits:

• Horse half would be mainly blue with white and red accents (I don't have exact ideas for what should be what colour, I'd like to either discuss it with whoever I commission or leave it up to the artist if they have a good idea in mind.)
• Snake part would be black instead of red. (Dark grey that implies black instead of exact so lines are still visible, unless artist has other ideas that would look good/fit the design of Ninja Brian.) Gold/yellow accents.

Bonus: if the background could be made transparent. I don't know what sort of profile I'll eventually have for them but I'd like to be able to work with background colours other than white if possible, so transparent would be the easiest way to do this.

If anyone is inspired or super interested in this I'm definitely open for other suggestions/ideas as well! (A way to incorporate other design features or personality with the characters, etc) These are just things I either definitely want or am very interested in having in this overlay.

I'm looking for someone who can replicate the Subeta style well, but if you have equally quality art I'll consider it even if it's a totally different style.

I'm looking to pay in USD (via paypal) but if you'd prefer CSC I can purchase some. I don't have a set budget in mind so just let me know your prices.

That sounds like an interesting band! :D I'd be interested in making the overlay if you haven't gotten any other offers yet! I'm still a bit of a beginner at it but I can reline and recolour and would definitely be able to provide a transparent overlay! :)

I think the norm is somewhere in the middle after sketch or flat colours? But I usually prefer payment after finishing if you're fine with that! In terms of invoice/or just sending it, I can do whichever you feel more comfortable with! :)

I'll sketch up the new lines and markings (with flat colours) tomorrow and show you so I can make changes if needed! :) I'll definitely let you know if I need more refs!

Hiya! I didn't manage to get as much done as I'd hoped (legit almost falling asleep since my cat kept waking me up last night and I only got 2 hours sleep orz ) but here's the first wip for the new lines! :D I'll be adding the hair tomorrow and cleaning up the lines (since they're still rough until we finalise them)! I'll also make the snake's features clearer if you like this angle.

I'd started to add the flat colours but then I realised you weren't completely set on where they'd go on the horse half yet. What are your thought's on it at this point? :D If we stuck to keeping it similar to the costume, perhaps the chest and top of the head might look good white, so then the stars could be red like his costume! But mixing it up would probably make a fun result too! Maybe the horn could be the white, or the same yellow that Brian's accent's would be? I can do a couple of different combinations of the colours for you to pick from if you'd like!

It's transparent btw, I just left the white layer on since it's a wip XD I'm also working at a larger size than the original so I'll be able to give you a 500x500 px version as well as the overlay sized one once I'm done! :)

oh my gosh you poor thing, def take your time and rest up. I'm super excited to see this coming together but I'm in no rush so don't worry if real life gets in the way!

I absolutely love the star on the head where the horn is-- I hadn't even thought of that but it's fantastic! The star on the chest I'm not quite feeling as much. Not sure if that would change with colours though. (I just feel like the star on the head stands out enough to not need a second one on the chest. I love the direction so far though so feel free to play around with it?)

Yeah, for colours for the Danny half I wasn't sure if following the costume colour placement or supplementing the colour placement on the original experiment pet with different colours would work best. If you don't mind doing a couple colour combinations that would be lovely. (I'm a very visual person so I think it's just me having a hard time picturing everything.) Only if it isn't too much trouble though!

I also really like that you changed the angle for the snake head, it really makes it easier to get that intense look.

Here are the lines with the hair! :D It'll be more detailed (and curly) once shaded! I also made the snake's head a teensy bit bigger! After looking at it today, I agree that the middle star is a bit much as well so I removed it!

And... here are some colour combos! It's a little bit mix and match since I wanted to show a lot of different varieties so you'd know how each part looks in each colour.

1. 2. 3. 4.5. (I just added the small stars and gold scales quickly for the visualization so if we went with those markings I'd be cleaning it up a huge amount! I'm also gonna re-shade the scales fully but here I used the original so the markings actually looked scaly! XD )

Out of what I played with, I think a combination similar to either the first, or the last might be best since both are colourful but not overkill. Though for the first, it could also have a few red scales sparingly.

But feel free to pick and choose colours/markings between each of them or completely different ones! They're easy to change since they're all on layers! :)

And if non of the markings are standing out to you, we could maybe try out a flat yellow design for Brian's half, similar to his costume, or fur dividing the halves like Danny's costume (as opposed to the patches)!
