hi! i've been wanting to open commissions for a few months now but have been having trouble deciding on pricings. for now i want to do some basic busts. i forgot to get a shot of the flat colours before i shaded fully.

I'd say maybe 500-800 CSC for the shaded bust :0! I'm not entirely sure though xD just basing it on some of the other shops I've seen. Best of luck with the pricing ^^!
Hey there! Love your art. I was wondering how much time you spend drawing? (There are a few apps that can time how long you use a program to help you get an idea of how long you spend on a piece. I also recommend doing some trial drawings for yourself that are timed and have a set deadline to prepare for commissioned work.) You should charge at the very least the minimum wage/hour, so calculate the base price from there. When doing actual commissions you should also charge extra for commissions that would be more difficult/time consuming for you.
thank you! ❤ well i've tried that before but it ended up overpricing in my opinion. i take a lot of breaks and watch shows in between, sometimes pausing for awhile without realizing it, so it ends up taking me hours for a piece that can take 45 minutes if i concentrate on it. :<

I do similar things when I make art too, but the time I spend fluffing around isn't counted towards the hours I spend on an art piece. Eg. If I spent 10 hours working on something but was watching TV for 4, then I've only worked for 6 hours making a total of $42-66+ depending on what my hourly rate is. I think there are some programs that time how long you're active in an art program (like PS) to see exactly how much time you spent? Either way, if it would take you 3/4 to 1 hour to make something then charge something like $5.60-8.25+ or $7.50-11.00+.
