The inventory limit has been at 100 items for quite some time now, and I think it's a really good time to take a look at it and see if it can be increased. Obviously I cannot speak for everyone, but the limit has gotten in the way of my daily questing and stuff quite a bit. It's really frustrating to try to finish up a quest, and then have to deal with a "your inventory is too full" message and have to move items around with a quest going on in the background.
It's not even just a matter of me having a lot of wizard tokens in my inventory or anything like that since I tend to cash them in quite quickly anyways. It's just easy to incur a lot of items when you're marathoning quests in general, and since it seems the primary item movement overall has been overhauled recently with new shops, I imagine the server load of moving a lot of items to shops, buying items, etc. has decreased dramatically, too.
I don't really care too much about the inventory viewing limit that's imposed so much (where even if you have a 100+ items, you can only see up to 100 items), but it would be nice not having to stop so much during my questing and have to worry about a lower reward. I think subeta has had a lot of nice quality of life changes this year and in recent years (less quests vs. the old like, 20/30), the improved shop system, etc. so I think this is something that might be good to take a look at as well.
Gold accounts have a limit of 250 (just in case you didn't know)
100 is pretty easy to fill up doing quests and stuff, especially when quests have bonus items. I wouldn't really object to an increase - especially if it was an sP sink by buying like 50 extra slots for some sP either permanent or expires after 6 months or something
With a gold account (250 item limit) I rarely if ever run out of inventory space, and I usually marathon all my quests (about 150 quests a day). I think that staff realized 100 is a bit limiting, but it was their decision to offer a paid solution to this (the gold account perk) instead of increasing it for everybody.
I think it's fine to have this remain a reason to buy a gold account. After all it's part of what helps Subeta pay the bills. Needing to move items from your inventory to your vault every 100 items isn't a big enough problem, in my opinion, for them to change it - it only takes a couple seconds to clear your inventory with quick stock.

It gives you extra inventory space? It's horribly advertised then... It doesn't even mention that on the gold account perks when you buy one.
In that case I feel like it could probably use to be increased for everyone, then. I think the original limit when I joined might have been... 60? I'm not really sure. That was over 11 years ago though, and the site was far worse off back then with the servers than it is now, so a 40 item increase over a decade isn't really much to brag about.
Hm you're right, it is horribly advertised. It's not even on the gold account page where you can buy the medals. They really need to put the perks somewhere easier to find (cuz I'm sure it's listed somewhere).
I guess my opinion is that Subeta still needs to give users reasons to buy gold accounts, because Subeta needs users to buy CSC in order to make money. So improvements like this, which are more for convenience than necessity, it makes sense to have for gold accounts only. A lot of the gold account perks are quality-of-life things, like the shop autopricer, and I think Subeta should reserve some of these conveniences for paid members, so people have more incentive to support the site.

At the same time though, if they don't even advertise it as being a feature, I'm not really sure if that sends the best message of it being a cared for feature for gold accounts as it is...? Honestly I think gold accounts need to really be reevaluated for its perks as it is, the best thing to change was adding the pet leash as a feature instead of 250 csc a month.
Annnd I accidentally missed your post. Sorry. xD Honestly a sp sink sounds like it would be a lovely idea, too... The only thing I've been tempted to dump my sp into for quite some time now is pet slots. Beyond that, very little sP sinks beyond pet slot treasure chests interest me. :/
It was increased to 1000 or something temporarily for Luminaire. I hope that's done this year...
yeah I think the key to sP sinks is to just have a good variety since not everything appeals to everyone :)
If it's not even advertised, it may not be not a big reason for people to go out and buy a gold account. It's a nice thing in addition to everything else, but I don't think it will hurt sales if everybody got an increase. At least, not that badly.
