to my understanding: 100 CSC = 1.00$ = 12 mil sP is this true?

I'm selling chibi icons. -

The commissioner gets one 100x100 copy, and one 500x500 copy.

Hmmm, I'd say 300 CSC or so :0! I'm not too sure, but I've seen plenty of full body chibis go for 500CSC + and since this is an icon that only includes the face, it could go for lower than 500CSC.

wait, are you saying you spend too long to charge 300CSC each and you want to charge more? I know this sounds snippety and I don't want it to, I'm just trying to assess what you are saying

Isn't 300 CSC 3 USD? Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm saying minimum wage in the USA is 7.25. I want to charge AT LEAST that.

I'm saying I spend about an hour on each icon. That's... three dollars... for an hour... Again, please. Correct me if I'm wrong!!!!

If you want to charge minimum wage/hour then do so, it's great to treat commissions like any other job and charge accordingly. Personally, I think you should charge higher (where I'm from minimum wage is around $7-11, but working for minimum wage isn't great and a lot of artists would charge more based on their experience, customers, and time spent).

I'd say go for it, dude. You sound pretty set on what you want to charge so if I were you I'd charge that, and see what feedback you get. People might say some pretty surprising things and you won't know until you've given it your all.

You sound pretty much set to be asking for a price. However, you got to consider you got to compete against people around the world. Some of them can do the work better, faster, and cheaper since they might actually do that for living. Art is like any other job, you just can't get out of college and expect to land a 60k/year job. Most people out of college end up being paid much lower then their works worth. In short, what I'm saying is the you got to start cheap. Get some practice and popularity, then you can keep increasing the price.

It's like the artwork I have on the right ===================> It cost me 1500 csc which by your standards could be 2 hours work. Do you seriously think the artist took only 2 hours?

It's sad but art on the internet is really undervalued because people from places where minimum daily salary it's horrible. You mention the U.S... Well it's neighbor Mexico minimum salary is about $4 USD per DAY! Don't get me started places around Africa and Asia...

I feel 300-500 CSC is a fair price based on competition, rather than time spent. You'd get more commissions versus anything higher, in return more profit. Plus, the more experience, the faster you'll get~!
